We purchased this flashlight to walk our dog at night. The flashing side light would work for warning cars of our location and the concentrated beam would make sure we did not step in something soft and squishy.HOWEVER, We read the instructions and were puzzled about the "6 hour" limit on charging the rechargeable battery. After using the light a few evenings it dimmed out so we removed the battery and recharged it. That seemed to work well. After that first recharge (6 hours) the battery did not last more that one 15 minute walk. So we charged the battery over night (12 hours) and again it seemed bright on our first use. The battery did not hold beyond one short use. It occurred to us that there maybe a short/leak that drains the battery even when turned off and not in use.We have had this flashlight 50 days and it is getting worse with each recharge/use. The instructions did not say to fully charge the battery before the initial use so I doubt the problem is "battery charge pattern syndrome". Still hoping for better service. Now I will write to the manufacturer.

Don’t get me wrong, I do really like the flashlight, but there are a few things that I feel could be better. When I first got it the thing wouldn’t work at all, it wasn’t until I stuck it to a metal object with the magnet before it started working, then it worked just fine for some reason. It does also like to just turn off/ cut out every so often and I have to turn it back on which can be a little annoying at times. For these reasons I feel like the build quality could be a little better, I think some of the soldering on the inside might be kinda weak which is why I’m having these issues. It would also be nice if the buttons weren’t so small and close together, because I keep hitting the wrong one for what I’m wanting, and if you’re wearing gloves it’s a real pain sometimes. Other than those things it’s a pretty decent flashlight that works pretty good for what I need.

Like other reviewers, my flashlight came with a weak battery that would not take a charge. While the instructions say to remove the paper spacer inside the flashlight before use, in my case the paper spacer was loose in the case. It's possible the battery was drained to failure due to the missing spacer. I contacted the seller, and they offered a partial refund to cover the bad battery.I tried the flashlight with an extra 18650 battery I had, and I like the light. It has a bright, somewhat small center spot and a wide weaker area. The side light is the unique feature. It is quite bright and has a very wide light pattern. With the magnet base, it can act as a worklight or even light up a room. The side light does make the diameter of the light larger than normal, but the convenience of having both spot and flood lights in one is worth it.You can turn on both lights at the same time, but runtime would suffer, and you normally need one or the other, not both at the same time.

Absolutely love it. Best flashlight yet in my opion. Im a plumber and use a flashlight everyday so i want a rechargeable one. This one is perfect it fits on my belt with a holder( sold seperate) and is perfect for work. I tried a few different ones but they were to big. Including the Nebo one which is double the cost. Perfect size and rechargable.

It's very convenient for the flashlight to bring batteries, but the betteries running out so muchfaster . It needs to charge again. But it has a flashing light set that I need. We lived on busy street. Always traffic, and the kids cross the street to show the flashlight Be safe .

Initially the ist charge the light was bright and I was delighted , but the 2nd charge, the battery doesn't charge well. Light is faint and not bright. Disappointed should have returned the product.

It was great when I first started using it, extremely bright and small enough to get into small spaces. I'm not sure what the issue was bit about 4 weeks into using it as a mechanic it suddenly died and stop holding charges.Overall it's bright and great but just upset it didn't last very long.

Battery all but dead and wouldn't charge.
