First off, the scooter is very sturdy (read, heavy) and high performance. You definitely need a full-face helmet when traveling at speeds of 30-45mph. I ordered the 60v LG battery version. A reputable OEM battery was a must-have option for me. So far, I have reached a max of 42mph riding around the streets of Austin, TX.Unlike other reviewers, I have not experienced any of the issues with build quality. All the charging port plugs are there, my tires haven't gone flat, and the frame is sound. I may opt for street tires for better efficiency, but as of now, the all-terrain tires are just fine. There is some noise from the knobby tires but it is hardly noticible because I am wearing my helmet (as you should).I bought this scooter with the undertandimg that it is a value PEV and that I may need to fix some things. None of that. Just put on the handlebars, fenders, and tighten a few acceasories. When taking your first ride, you should progressively ease into higher speeds to get a feel for the torque curves of the D6+-very torquey but not unweildly. However, this is not a beginner scooter.You should look into this scooter if you need something to handle rough terrain-very good suspension. This is also your scooter if you are looking for good value with the option for an LG battery. This is not your scooter if you need to go up and down stairs as it is very heavy at 77lbs. This is also not your scooter if folding and stowing are a high priority. The folding mechanism is robust and slow to unfasten. There is also no latch to carry the scooter using the handlebar stem. But of you can live with that, this scooter is a solid option and $1k lower than alternatives with similar performance.

I received my D6 Plus today and it's incredible! It was mostly put together in the box so it just took a few minutes to install the handlebars and tighten everything down and I was ready to go. This is my first scooter and I spent several months doing the research to try to figure out which brand and which scooter to buy. After lots of research, I decided I'm this Nanrobot D6 Plus 1.0. It has three speeds and you can choose between single motor and dual motor. The dual motor at high speed is incredibly fast. I mean stupid fast! I'm just fine running on single motor and I can still get over 30 mph. When I engage the second motor, the torque increases dramatically and I've hit 39 moh so far. If you've been wondering which scooter to get, let me save you some research and go ahead and get this one!I did have two issues but very small issues. My scooter did not come with charge port plugs. My charge ports are open to the air. Also, when I go to connect the charger I get a spark right as it comes in contact with the charging port. I have the charger unplugged from the wall as directed but I still get a spark. I've read that it's not a good thing, but so far my scooters charging just fine. Time will tell I guess. Either way, there's a one-year warranty so if there is a problem then Nanrobot will send you parts for free and there are plenty of videos to show you how to fix it.I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and can't wait to do more riding on this scooter!Update Day 2 - One of the reasons why I. Ought it from Nanrobot Amazon store vs others is because of the warranty and the support. It has been I credible so far. I spoke to them several times before I bought the scooter and they are just as responsive now.So I told them about the spark when I connect the charger And that I was missing the plugs that go inside the charging port. The immediately got back to me and told me that they apologized that that happened and that they were sending me a charger, two new updated charging ports with plugs and a fuse. I'll have it within a week or so. My scooter is still working fine but I will have parts just in case something does happen. No questions asked and they just give great support and send parts right away. Roadrunner scooters has plenty of videos showing you exactly how to do specific things on your scooter.

I did not expect it to be of such strong quality. I received it three days ago. I ordered it a month ago, but the problem is with the address to which I ordered the scooter. I contacted the seller late, but as soon as I informed him and gave him my new address, he shipped it to me within one day. It arrived and I am impatiently waiting for the scooter. I tried it. I did not expect it to be of this quality, strength, and amazing performance. It is really strong and deserves five stars in my opinion. I have experience with other scooters, but this one has its own touch, stability, and incomparable strength. I loved it, and the customer service is available at any time. I recommend taking it.

I researched scooters for the past year which were powerful and comfortable enough to ride on trails and fields on my property. I wanted enough power to climb hills, a quality suspension to soften the bumps on trails, a large deck to accommodate big feet, a sturdy build for safety and reliability and the ability to control the speed and power to make it safe for beginners. I procrastinated until the most recent upgrade added a much larger display and improved controllers making it easy to finally purchase the scooter from Amazon. The process was smooth with the scooter arriving a day before the initial estimate. It took about fifteen minutes to assemble the few unattached parts and a few more hours to finish charging the battery. The scooter is a serious vehicle, not a toy. It is very powerful and takes time and practice to get comfortable...that said...after each ride you will want to get right back on it for more practice and fun. It has been reliable with no parts failing or needing to be replaced. A few questions I had about display operation were answered within 12 hours by Nanrobot tech support in a friendly and professional manner. I highly recommend this escooter for beginners wanting a serious machine to grow into or experienced escooter riders.
