Purchased these for a "Glow in the Dark" Birthday party and they were great! The perfect size. They do get a little hot, so just be careful there.

We have had this light running every night for over a month with zero issues. We are using it to illuminate our skeleton display and it adds just the right eerie touch. It does get a bit warm, but we just set it on a brick and it has been fine. I plan to buy more of these next year are we increase the size of our display.

These are startlingly bright and one of them will easily illuminate (in black light) a room. They do get very hot. Because of the brightness and the heat I've started mounting them to the ceiling to get them away from people. Their metal stand makes it very easy to mount them anywhere and adjust the angle.Overall I'm very pleased with the price and performance of these lights.

At first, I was rather disappointed with how small the UV light was.; However, when I plugged it in, I was pleased with just how well the 30 watt light lit up the entire room.I do a lot of work with UV lights - glow in the dark crafts, invisible ink, face-paint, etc., so this one is really helpful. That said, I wish I would've shelled out for a higher wattage, because more is generally better.That said, you can see from the 30 w alone that it gets the job done. I also like how the light doesn't take up too much space. It is discreet enough to keep plugged in somewhere out of the way, and still give full coverage to my studio room. I also tried it with some UV paint, and the colors lit up very well.Since I will be working in larger spaces this summer, I still recommend getting the higher wattage variant, which I will do next time.Thanks for reading my review

I ordered this for my daughter’s birthday party and i was very disappointed. It looked like it was barley on and it wasn’t working! Threw it out!

Unreliable

This is a nice 30W black light for indoor uses, it is just barely adequate for a 20x20 foot room with normal ceilings (another room with vaulted ceilings overwhelms it). I may be able to use it in our front door area for Halloween, since that has a couple of walls to reflect the light. I would recommend getting the higher wattage lights if you have big areas to light. I can recommend the 30W for small areas. P-)

Alright so I felt kinda silly ordering this. But now that I have it I love it. I think I'll end up ordering a few more before it's all said and done. It's fun for parties and I've always just thought they were cool. I'm surprised by how much light it casts. For the price very good value, especially if you're a bit of a freak and live on the weird side :)
