Easy to assemble and gorgeous product. The app is easy to use and you will have the product up and running in less than 10 minutes. There are tons of patterns in the app many which are mesmerizing and some are just plain hokey. The weird ones tend to be attempts at holiday patterns. I love the speed adjustment in the app. I like to set it real slow because I want the pattern to take time to complete. Once complete the marble just stops and you are left with the chosen design. The lighting inside the Drift is pretty good. Its bright and there are enough colors to choose from.

This thing is beautiful and fascinating. I am constantly mesmerized by it. Really, some of the best money I've spent!

The media could not be loaded.  Update 2: For reasons I don't understand the device stopped communicating with my Pixel 6a even after using the phone to set it up. I had to switch to an old LG V30. It works about 7 out of 10 tries with the LG. Enough to change the settings and patterns. Once it's up and running it doesn't really need tweaking. But if you decide to change the lights and patterns it will need the app. I honestly don't understand why this is such a riddle for Homedics. Every other Bluetooth device I've ever owned works more consistently that the Drift. It's worth the hassle, though. The device is gorgeous.Update 1: I initially wrote a very negative review. Now that I finally figured out how to get it to work I love it! If you're using Android, it needs to connect via Bluetooth to do a firmware update before you can set it up. The drift never shows up on my list of available Bluetooth devices. However, the app does provide the device as an option. The first several times I tried to do the firmware update the process froze and I had to start over. I turned the drift on and off and rebooted my phone. That seems to do the trick because I was finally able to update the firmware. It took several minutes, maybe 5-10 but I didn't count. After the firmware update I was able to change the settings for the Drift.In terms of size, I chose the 16 inch and am glad. It fits nicely on a rectangular coffee table. For me the 21 inch would be way way too big. However, I could see turning the 21 inch into it's own end table. But unless you have a specific spot that can fit the larger one, I would recommend the 16 inch.Now that it works this thing is absolutely gorgeous. The level of detail in the patterns is truly impressive and the lighting is perfect. It's a piece of art that also makes its own art.

Although this would be an awesome product, customer service is horrible! The app. stops working soon after set up! I've read other reviews and they all have the same issue. I reached out to Homedics and explained the issue, their response was, "in order to further assist you, we need more info on the product. So they send me a list a mile long of all the crap I need to retrieve from the box, the product etc, a code here a code there ridiculous! I comply and send this info, they respond back by saying "thank you for the info but, we need more info on the product", and they send me another list a mile long. NO! I'm not playing this stupid game. They sell 3 bowls, an 11",16"and 21 inch, that's it, yet they need all this ridiculous info off the packaging! If you buy one, you'll love it but will be drastically be disappointed soon after. I bought 2 of these bowls like an idiot, and paid darn near $1000.00 and this is the customer service I get? NO! DONE!

I received this item as a Christmas gift & we haven't turned it off since!It is bulky so it's smart to have an idea as to where you'll be putting it beforehand. But everything from the calming noise it makes when the metal ball is moving around creating the pattern, to the awesome lighting features/combos, the easy to maneuver app, to the patterns themselves are SO interesting & fun!The only note is I do hope they update the app with more designs soon/regularly because the most recent "happy new year" design is from 2023. A feature where you can make your own design on the app to be drawn would be an even cooler add on!

The media could not be loaded.  For the money I do wish it had a speaker and option for meditation music or Bluetooth. I was sceptical because of cost but love that I made the purchase. It’s on all the time bedside and has helped calm me to sleep.

So I bought this for my mom, for her birthday, and she loved everything about it. From the box to the size. Not the price though… but for everything that It comes with, it was worth it!Ok so about the product itself.It doesn’t come with a paper manual. It’s all in the app that you download.The sand is not already in the bowl? (That’s what I’ll call it for now), you have to put it in yourself, comb it, flatten it then put the ball in and let it do it’s thing.Straight out the box it started working for us we used an iPhone to connect).Also I got her the small size. Perfect size… the bigger one I can imagine is humongous.The sizes should be big and bigger honestly! But this is a great product. In the app it seems like there are thousands of pictures to pick from but as I’m writing this, she’s had it for three days… I can tell you, you’d never see every design this thing has!

I really like this sand drift … very easy to put together … easy to program to get started …. The grandkids love watching the sand sculptures being created. I have recommended this drift table to lots of people … very relaxing to watch . love it 💜
