Works as advertised. Make sure your fixture has a conductive metal case.
Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about with grounded outlets and extension cords, but this is a 12 VOLT product. It only requires 12vdc + and - run to it. Once it was wired to match the schematic printed on the case (the circled X is where your light goes), it worked perfectly. It has three dim settings, and when you touch it, it goes dimmest, medium, brightest, off, in that order. It didn't work for the fixture I had originally planned, as the case actually turned out to be plastic, not metal as I had hoped. Not a problem, I found another use for this product where it worked as advertised. Use a multimeter to test your fixture for conductivity before ordering this product. Or, just run the yellow "touch" lead to something else conductive you want to use as a switch. A small conductive bolt fixed in a convenient location works nicely.

Extending the touch sensor required shielded COAX Cable
Touch control does what it says it will do..... HOWEVERIf you are not installing inside a lamp but are planning on extending the "Touch" on/off to a metal plate (like to touch under cabinet lights on/off) you will need to use shielded coax to extend the touch control. The slightest touch to the insulated wire will turn the lights on and off. Any accidental touch along your wire extension will turn the lights on and off.Simply covering the wire with tin foil didn't prevent this for me. I tried shielded coax RG59 coax and it worked for my short test. I don't know if it will work for longer runs or if thunder storms will cause the lights to go on and off.

Works well
Works well. If you have trouble make sure you are using a properly grounded outlet and no extension cord.

Does not work.
Bought 2 switches. Neither work. Wired pos power supply to red switch wire. Wired neg power supply, black switch wire and neg led light wire together. Touch yellow brass ring and nothing. Wiring power directly to led light works fine. Tried different small led, same results.
