"Wild Animals I Have Known" is truly one of those books that deserves its spot in the heart of Americans. Yes, some might find them simpering animal stories, others examples of a time of treating animals best long forgotten. But for those who can get inside the mind of Mr. Seton and just what he wanted to express, this becomes a wonderful read. Seton shares animal stories from creatures he has seen to creatures who get to tell their stories from their own perspectives. Some of the stories are fun, others are downright tragic, but all of them possess a spirited sense of adventure and wonder at the animal world. The telling of the tales is classic, making these wonderful for read-alouds or simply for a silent solo read. A fine testament to storytelling.

this is a great book that everyone should read. I have a first edition and bought this copy to lend to a friend. Very descriptive the animals all have great personalities of their own.

I have always been interested in Wild Wolves and this book had a lot of good info on Wolves. Good product and good service.

I love this book I have read it four times...you will always remember Lobo and Blanca and will like humans a lot less!!

This is good for children to realize the dangers of wild animals, and how domesticated animals can change if they have been left on their own too long.

Great book

A favorite from my childhood, but laid out very poorly. Chapter headings start in the middle or bottom of pages, some pages are left nearly blank. It is as if the book was printed from a website and pagination happened automatically. Also, there is no table of contents, which is inconvenient for a collection of stories. I recommend buying a different version of this book.

A book of its time. Well-written, touching, sad in places and an interesting insight.

Ich wollte dieses Buch hauptsächlich nur wegen der Geschichte über "Lobo" den Wolf. Der SChreibstil ist ganz nett allerdings ist die Typografie in diesem Band sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig! Alles ist in Blöcken geschrieben die nach innen und hoch versetzt sind. Schwer zu berschreiben aber das Buch könnte um die hälfte dünner sein wenn mann ganz normal geschrieben hätte.Das Englisch ist nicht sehr anspruchsvoll also wirklich gut zu lesen auch für Leute die nur Schulenglich berherrschen. Im Buch gibt es ganz nette Zeichnungen die die Geschichten ganz hübsch untermalen.
