Mexican Short Stories / Cuentos mexicanos: A Dual-Language Book (Dover Dual Language Spanish)

Another great foreign language learning tool. I'm sure that it will be a very interesting read.

Great selection for the student of Mexican literature, and/or the student of Spanish, and/or those who wish to learn more about the Mexican way of seeing things. Most are quite old, so know this going in. It's a great convenience to have the English printed side-by-side.

The price was very good and the condition was like new. I am very happy with my purchase, and will be looking to buy more of the same.

Advanced level facing page, dual language reader. This is real Mexican literature, not baby talk. However, no footnotes or glossary with definitions, which would have been very useful.

These bilingual books are a must for serious Spanish students. Very easy to read stories that will help you practice!

I got this book for my brother who is studying Spanish. The dual-langauge books are awesome but I find that all the stories are old (classic). My brother would much prefer more contemporary options. This book is good in providing the translations, just not that interesting.

This is a great bilingual book. I used it to read to my English/Spanish classes. The stories are very well translated.

Perhaps the print version juxtaposes the translations (it’s impossible to know based on the sample), but the kindle version does not. False advertising regarding the most important feature of this sort of publication.

Dual language books are a very efficient way to learn. This stories, however, are old and so are not as good a means for learning contemporary Spanish.

Unfortunately this book does not suit my purpose. I need SHORT stories for my Spanish classes. My only criticism is it that these stories are too long. They are great for pleasure reading
