The user will need assistance with putting on the gloves
The media could not be loaded. The Music Glove is an innovative and interactive hand therapy device that helps people regain dexterity and strength in their hands. It uses gamification techniques to make therapy more engaging and enjoyable, which can be especially important for those who are recovering from a traumatic injury or stroke. The device is incredibly easy to use, and it comes with a series of engaging games that can be tailored to the individual's specific needs and abilities. The system is designed to help patients improve their range of motion, speed, and accuracy, all while having fun and feeling motivated. It is very difficult to set up as far as technology and it takes four hands to put on the gloves correctly. It's great, but requires a therapist or talented loved one, or maybe a companion caregiver who wants to be an occupational therapist eventually and needs some experience helping hands that don't help themselvesOne of the most significant advantages of the Music Glove is its versatility. It can be used by people of all ages and abilities, and it is highly customizable to meet the specific needs of each patient. Additionally, the Music Glove is backed by scientific research, which shows that it is an effective tool for hand therapy.Overall, the Music Glove Hand Rehabilitation System is an excellent product that can significantly improve the quality of life for stroke and brain injury survivors. It is an easy-to-use, highly effective, and enjoyable tool that can help patients regain their independence and improve their overall wellbeing. If you or someone you love is recovering from a stroke or brain injury, I highly recommend giving the Music Glove a try

Ok
It works quite well, I would not recommend it for someone with severe hemiparesis in the hand, it would not be easy to place. The auxiliary glove does not work well at all.

Purchased Oct 2023 and the internal battery pack DIED Feb 2024
UPDATE: The internal 7.4V 2600mAh 19.24wh battery pack stopped charging making it unusable. To rehab my broken wrist and damaged tendons from a head-on vehicle collision, I originally purchased a large glove but the inflation tube on the pinkie finger burst after a few days use. After researching competitors who did not offer similar options, I returned it and got an XL size hoping it was a one-off defect. Of note, the large sized model was labeled NIWEI on top of the control module with Becggse on lower front. The instructions had poor grammar and omitted how to use the palm strap. The XL version had Becggse labeled on the lower front by the air tubes, BUT included voice description audio for each mode (that the large model did not), and had clearly written instructions. I like the various exercise modes, and the stretch that it provides. HOWEVER, the glove is bulky and the thumb tubing gets in the way preventing me from closing my hand. Even using the thumb's level 3 delay doesn't help. It also only has 15 tension levels and I really need it to go to a level 20-25 as it will not close my hand past a half open position. The mirror glove also does NOT allow partial finger movement. Once each knuckle sensor notices an open, it fully closes each finger. Having had severe trauma to my hand, a partial open/close capability would have been great, but I cannot use it all at - at least for several more months of therapy. Overall, I think it is currently the best product I could find on Amazon, albeit the marketer seems to be rebranding different manufactured models (NIWEI). It would be greatly improved if the inflatable tubing were smaller on the thumb, the tension levels went higher, and if it included a heat option to loosen up stiff fingers.

Stroke recovery tool
Great therapy tool for stroke recovery. Other tools require some self movement to be useful. This one does not. It does the work for you if you cannot move your fingers. Just Starting out with 5 minute sessions a few times a day. The mirror glove is ok, definitely responsive. We need to practice some more and remember to go slow. Any movement is good for hemiplegic hand. Not sure this assists with muscle initiation in the arm but it does bend the fingers and thumb very well. It has preset exercises that are different and a timer for the movements. Hoping this will help prevent finger stiffening and tightness that would hinder good recovery. So far it has been money well spent.

does flex and extend fingers as advertised
my husband has a very large hand. Most products didn't come that would fit him. This is xxl and barely fits, but it does, so happy about that. There is no information as who to contact if there are any problems or questions on the product. Instructions are not very useful so we just plugged it in and going thru each function. Still not sure how to change a few things. But it does seem to function as indicated with the videos. Fabric is kind of cheap and will probably tear easily, but just have to be careful and hope it will last awhile. It closes and extends the fingers, but nothing to move them side to side. But that was not expected. It does help to keep the fingers mobile. My husband has paralysis of that side.
