I am using this with a Dawn linear drain and an ABS Oatey 2 piece rough in drain ($12 at Orange Box store). The OD of the Dawn drain is 2". I went with the ABS drain over the standard cast iron Dawn drain because plastic will never corrode. Unfortunately, the place where I purchased the linear drain did not carry just a rubber gasket to allow it to work with the Oatey drain base.So, after reading many (fake?) reviews on Amazon for different gaskets, I dropped the seven bucks for this one figuring it wasn't going to break the bank if it didn't fit.1. It fits!2. It's snug (just the right amount). Soap or plumbers grease will help with installation.3. It fit into the standard Oatey drain base once I unscrewed the drain that comes with the Oatey.4. No smell. Fully expecting to be overcome with the scent of Harbor Freight, I was surprised to open the package to not a whiff of toxic rubber smell...I have not installed it yet, but don't foresee any issues, since the bench fit was fine.

Works as needed.

The item is sturdy and well constructed. It arrived a week after it was promised and our project had to be completed before it arrived, so we bought a different product to finish the job. Not delivered when promised, but otherwise a good product.
