Smith Performance Sprayers S103EX Stainless Steel Concrete Sprayer with Viton Extreme Seals

I wanted a good quality sprayer to seal new pavers. Initially I thought this large size might be a little to maneuver around, it was not at all, and I am glad I did have this size, it covered lot more area. A gauge would be helpful to know the tank pressure, because as the pressure decreases, a gauge would indicate it's time to pump more pressure to maintain a consistent spray pattern or air leakage. It does take a few pumps to get a good working pressure, but overall, I am very pleased with this product. This is a seriously well-made product, that worked exceptionally well.

The pressure relief valve stopped releasing pressure and the spray nozzle broke and it will only shoot straight. I lose my fan spray ability after two uses. Cleaned it out each time completely. For $260 it’s garbage! I have $20 pump up sprayer that perform better.

I own a concrete company and have used pump sprayers for 20 years and have not found a good one yet for the good sealers w/acetone. Thought this was it until the gasket inside the pump handle was shot after 4 uses and I can t find a gasket kit for it

So the sprayer is great, i used it for spraying stain/sealer on several hundred feet of fence.The problem is that this product was sold as new. I admit. I did waffle between buying the warehouse "used" item for $20 less. But for a product like this. A slightly used item could easily be an unusable item depending on what went through it last and how well it was cleaned.Anyway. Decided it was worth the extra and Opted for a new sprayer.The sprayer that came was in an opened box, the sprayer had clearly been used. Water remained in tank and smelled strongly of mildew. Also clear signs that someone put the thing together with a loose monkey wrench.None of these were deal breakers, although, little miffed my "new" sprayer was less than so.But this is what I'm upset about. The MISSING PARTS. Says this product comes with two nozzles. One is missing. That is unacceptable. Selling a used product as new is unacceptable.It is disappointing how unreliable Amazon has become. So much so that I've become less concerned about free shipping and started shopping smaller retailers again, complete with their typical 2 week ship time.Fix this minor issue, and I will gladly give this product a 5 star review.

If you plan to use this product more than once, go ahead and spend the money and buy this brand and model. My husband owned a concrete company for many years and we used to blow through sprayers. The best advice I can give you about them is you get what you pay for. I've also seen some pretty pricey ones he had that lasted one use but they weren't built like this one. If you plan to use solvent based sealers you want to make sure you have a sprayer built to handle them. This sprayer is heavy when empty and much heavier when full so keep that in mind when you are thinking about who will be using it, how you will use it and for how long because it will affect that. Most important is reliability though. As I said, we went through so many of these but the better quality. more expensive ones were the ones that lasted and gave a better performance as far as application. The last thing you want in the middle of the job is your sprayer to go bad. Overall, I am thrilled with this. When I saw this offering I hoped so much I'd have the chance to try it. I needed it badly because I have so much decorative concrete (stamped, stained, overlays) that has to be maintained - repeated applications of sealers. If you have decorative concrete, you need that too. This came at just the right time for me.

Even after a good first tighten you have to tighten almost every fitting before every use. also does not hold pressure well
