Great learning tool for toddlers
We've had this cup for a while now. My daughter still uses it without the insert. When we first bought it, she was still learning to drink from a normal cup without spilling her drink all over her face. When the insert is firmly placed inside the cup, it allows a small amount of liquid through the outside ridges allowing the child a sufficient amount to drink while they hone their motor skills. I would liken this cup to the 360 degree sippy cups, except the child isn't sucking on it. It's a normal cup that restricts flow. It is dishwasher safe, looks exactly like the image shown, and is the right size for small hands. As long as you press the lid in firmly, it does not fall out while the toddler drinks. I've loved this cup and how simple yet effective it has been. I have recommended it to other moms as well.

Awesome!
My kids love these cups. I love these cups. My kids can drink out of a cup just like Mom and Dad, just like they always want to. Everyone who sees these wishes they had thought of the idea! Pro: - Really work to teach kids how to drink out of a real cup. The slow-flow rim works perfectly. My 6 month old even uses it! - Easy to clean. There are two simple parts to wash; no gaskets, no nooks and crannies. - Grows with the child. The plastic cup can be used alone without the slow-flow rim for my older child. - Made in the USA! Con: - Not spill proof. Not a con for me because I want to teach the kids that drinks will indeed spill when tipped over; they learn to be careful and cautious early. - Slow-flow rim sometimes falls out when the cup is tipped over, making a bigger mess than expected. Not a huge deal for me (see above). - Plastic is a little brittle. I've broken 2 cups by dropping them. Not a huge deal (don't drop the cup!) but may be nice if they were a little more durable. - Seem a little expensive for what they are, especially to buy a replacement cup instead of a whole set. But I'll pay the extra for a product made in the US.

Love them, he loves them!
We used sippy cups with my first daughter, solely, and by the time she was 4 she still had problems with frequently accidently tipping cups over. Our second daughter was exposed to regular cups earlier, because she was around a big sister, and by 4 she hardly ever had any problems with tipping her cups. This is when we realized that our first wasn't given the opportunity to learn that cups spill at an earlier age, whereas our second daughter was. Although it is easier to give little ones a sippy cup, it has dawned on me that the sippy cups were actually a hinderance to our eldest's cup learning curve, as it never leaked, never spilled. She could leave them anywhere, drop them, etc. she didn't need to learn how to be careful, heck she could throw them. So now on baby #3, we started giving him sips from our cups at about 6 months old, including straws. He's 18 months old now, and really prefers cups to sippy cups, but the flow is often too much! He'll start choking, yet still prefers the cups, so I sought something different. He is proud of this cup and really prefers it over any other. I mean he is clearly proud when he uses it. He doesn't drop it, but we started him early and he knows cups spill. The cup is made from the classic plastic tumbler material, which is a tad brittle. It is the same material my cups were in daycare. I do suggest buying two, because I already have a small fracture line, yet it is still intact. I will be buying more. And I imagine the gizmo can be used in any tumbler cup. In fact I just checked on one of my similarly shaped glass cups, and it fit just fine. Obviously I would use plastic tumblers and not glass, but the principal remains. I can see how the reflo gizmo could get stuck, so I use a firm tap on four corners and sometimes have to twist to remove it, but have yet to get it stuck. I am really glad I bought two. I also would slowly introduce this to a child trained on sippy cups, as they have a tendency to just drop their cups wherever. Show them, let themselves get soaked, so they get the idea. I highly, highly recommend this for children that are new to cups altogether, like babies, or not sippy cup or bottle users. I give this 5 because this product is awesome for us. I can always find new tumblers, but the reflo itself is ingenious, and I need more.

Good so far but one cup arrived cracked
Good size for my 3yo, and the slow pour works really well- he feels like a big boy. Easy to remove the inside piece and easy to clean, but when the cups arrived, the two green ones were stacked together too snug and the bottom one had two cracks around two of the three inner things from being stuck together too tight (see video). Hoping they can just send me a replacement cup and not have to return and get a whole new set.

Great Control FlowโDoesnโt Claim to be Spill-proof!
I bought the 4-pack and instantly loved the way it looked when it arrived. Yes, the packaging, which is just a plastic bag around the cups with a sticker, is very much bare-bones, but it did the job. You will want to scan and read the info in the QR code, but the most important info to know is to put it only on the top rack of the dishwasher with NO high heat settings, to make sure to install the insert into the cup evenly to create a friction fit, and to KNOW that itโs NOT spill-proof or for throwers, but gives controlled flow for less and slower messes. Iโve included a video to demonstrate pouring water and how the insert slows and controls what would have been a huge and quick mess. This is perfect for an eager toddler who wants to drink from an open cup but keeps spilling. Youโll notice it features a plastic cup with grooves and a double-layered insert with a gear-like disk layer and a crank. Youโll just push in the insert evenly to create the tight fit and hold, pull and twist the crank to remove it. Itโs pretty simple. As a plus, the plastic is thick and definitely feels high qualityโmade in the USA and supports a small husband-and-wife business!!!

Great training cup for my almost 3 year old
My son is turning 3 in a few weeks and he loves this cup! Most of his cups before this all had straws with lids to prevent leaking, however I wanted something that could help him transition to a regular cup, and this works great. He feels independent, and the insert in the cup has just enough flow that he feels like he's getting a good sip without the overflow or spilling. The insert stays in well, and I haven't had any troubles with it popping out while drinking.

Amazing cup
My grandson is autistic so it has been hard to find a cup he will use. I think he likes this one because he can see what is inside. I like it because it's harder for him to spill or pour out his liquids before gma can grab it.

Received 1 cup less
Advertised as 2 in a package and I received only 1. The delivery was 3 days early so good about that. But I received 1 cup less.
