A solid bicycle tool!
If you're looking to complete your tire replacement kit with a 15mm wrench AND tire lever this is a minimal, durable, solid, and beautifully coated option. It's already helped me pry off even the most rigid 23c tires and any mountain bike tire with ease.if you NEED something with an open-end wrench I'd suggest the parktool one, BUT the box end on this thing will provide maximum grip & will stay that way.Super excited to carry this tool on my long rides with my fixed gear!

Smaller than the description says - which is great
The first thing that struck me about the Portland Design Works 3Wrencho is how small it actually is. Measuring from end to end, it is just 4.5" long. It's a hair over .75" wide on the tire lever end and under 1.25" wide on the wrench end. On a digital food scale, the 3Wrencho weighs in at exactly 3.1 oz. So this little tool will definitely fit in most under-saddle bags. The coating is more than a powder finish. It's actually a solid plastic laminate and looks to be 1mm thick, thanks to a small hole near the tire lever end that lets you see down to the metal (the hole won't affect performance or quality in the least). The 15mm wrench fits my Pure Fix axle nuts perfectly. I haven't had to use it, yet despite its size, this tool is clearly capable of removing the tightest nut. It's hard to tell by looking at the images, but the handle is angled so that it creates distance from your spokes. With the socket end lying flat on a table, the tire lever end is raised .75" above the table surface. That's why it's knuckle friendly, though you could just as easily get a foot on it. The 3Wrencho feels tough as nails. The tire level looks perfectly usable, but I still plan to carry along a second (plastic) tire lever just in case two are needed.

Great! Flat in the right direction!
As many reviewers have pointed out, this is a bit of an extravagant purchase. It's a fair bit of money to shell out when there are much less expensive options available (ex. Craftsman stubby). Also, there's a good chance I'll never use this for a tire lever -- not when I have perfectly good, somewhat thinner plastic tire levers with convenient spoke hooks on the ends. However, in my garage I have three bikes (or is it four?) using 15mm axle nuts. I was venturing out the other day, purposely traveling lighter than normal, and noticed my Park Tool Single Speed Spanner is too long to fit in my medium sized saddle pouch. I started looking around at options and came upon this. What attracted my attention? Not only that it's short, but that it's flat in the direction I need to push my palm against it to turn the axle nut. That's a well though-out feature that my Craftsman and Park wrenches don't offer.Does that make it worth the price? Hard to justify, but I love the tool all the same.

It's a nice tool. Not cheap, but still nice.
I was hesitant to spend this much on a simple bike wrench when I could just get a cheapo 15mm at any hardware store. But I splurged, what's 20 bucks. The tool is really well made, it's solid, has a nice feel, just long enough to fit my hand (and saddle bag), and the coating is really nice. I tried out the tire lever, and it's fine too. I have a pair of plastic levers in my bag, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to have an extra just in case. The wrench fits perfect, but that's nothing to get excited about. Long story short:It's a well made tool. If you want to go budget you can certainly do it cheaper, but if you don't mind spending the money this will do everything you'd expect it to.

Awesomeness
I will not lie, I am a gadget fan.I also have a fixie that I gravitate towards for my weekend rides. The one thing that my crank-bros multi-tool was missing was a way of getting the wheel off when I need to fix a flat.Prior to ordering this I had a flat and fixing it while the wheel was still attached turned out to be rather tough. This little tool fits in my emergency pack.I have used it on the road twice. Despite being fairly short, it is very tough and I was able to undo the wheel, get the tire off with a combination of the lever end and a pair of Pedro's levers, fix the flat, CO2 my tire back to ridable, bolt it all back up and get on my way in less than ten minutes. It is a great little tool, very nicely designed and perfect for what I needed.

My new favorite tool
I ride a pedicab in Downtown Portland so this tool has become invaluable to me. We lease the cabs from a company so I never know what condition the cab is going to be in when I get it. Recently I had a cab which got a flat on the front tire. Normally this is no big deal but the person who changed the tube previously cross threaded one of the nuts and torqued both of them way too tight.I found myself at 12:45 AM on a street corner STANDING on this wrench. I literally had to jump and land down on this tool to get the nut to let loose. This thing performed exceptionally well. It showed no sign of stress or damage from my abuse. It also works really well to get that tire off the rim fast. It is compact and easy to store. Hopefully your journeys will be without incident so you won't need this tool very much. But when the time comes you will be very glad you have it with you.

already salvaged my ride twice
my bike has horizontal dropouts and I wind up tweaking the back tire into the frame if I push too much in a climb. I've been keeping the 3wrencho in my pocket thanks to its small size so I was able to reset my back tire and tighten the bolt back by stepping on the flat of the wrench.

Beautiful but useless
Although this spanner is well made and looks good it does not provide enough leverage due to the short handle. Okay if you don't have anything else but not a day to day tool.

IT'S A WRENCH
Keep this with my roll-up saddle bag on every ride. Perfect fit for quick tire changes.

Nice tool for a classy single speed bike.
l paid too much for this but it's a really nice tool to have in your courier pack. Six point design is necessary to avoid damaging fixie and single speed wheel nuts.
