After 289 hours my first batch of black garlic is ready. The fermenter operated as indicated by the manual. Customer service is excellent. Company checked to see that all was working well. I'd recommend this product to anyone interested in desiring black garlic for home use. If you have not tasted black garlic before, the initial sweet, maple syrupy taste surprises the taste buds, compared to newly harvested raw garlic that can be overwhelming.
