Great fit for 2017 KTM 1290r
I finally took the plunge and upgraded from my original lead battery for my 2017 ktm superduke 1290r. I double checked multiple times what size battery I needed with multiple online motorcycle distributers and I already had a shorai charger for another li ion battery. I like how light it is and the size is nearly identical to the oem battery. Plugged it into the charger and was at full charge in probably an hour. Much lighter than the old lead battery as well. Bike started up without hesitation.

Battery arrived totally discharged
I have used Shorai batteries similar to this one for many years. The low rating only pertains to this purchase as the product arrived totally discharged. From my experience, with a good charge on the Shorai's, and stored away, they seem to hold that charge for many, many months. It makes me wonder how long this one had been sitting around.

Very light battery not sure where it is made. Quick delivery. Not cheap. Good warranty hopefully.
