Less carbs.
I didn't like because it requires chewing too long to eat. Seasoning was difficult, trying to eliminate blandness.

Meh
I decided to try this product because the images made it look like actual rice. So I thought this might be closer to regular rice than the other stuff I have tried. It's not. Pretty much the same as all konjac products. Which I like for pasta substitute but for the rice it doesn't compare at all.

Does not taste like pasta at all
I mean, it’s not pasta. It is what I would imagine sea noodles taste like. Very chewy and kinda pops when you chew it. Horrible taste even covered with sauce. Really did not like it.

Overpriced, texture of calimari and slightly fishy tasting
Beware. I thought the price for 9.52 ounces was expensive when I thought it was dry. It's already cooked, so you get about a plateful. Yes, it does say pre-cooked, but I missed that. I have found the Carba-nada noodles to be better tasting, with better texture, and doesn't taste like typical diet food.

Don't miss rice now!
Wonderful product. No bad smells when opening the package, don't have to refrigerate the unopened packages, and it does a great job picking up the flavors of whatever dish you serve it with. Great for my celiac husband who is also diabetic and me, who joins him in counting carbs to lose weight. Works great in casseroles, with stir fry, and along with fish or other rice-worthy dishes.

Trying doesn't hurt.
It tastes good, but it's too expensive

Smaller the Grain, Better the Texture (Variety Pack Break-down)
8.16.22~ So glad I chose the variety pack trying this for the 1st time.'Hethstia' Konjac & Oat noodles are interesting. Not what you'd expect. Will share specifics on the varieties but First.....Details~* Directions give the impression to rinse & eat.You can but it's kinda rubbery to chew cold. Not bad, or good, but Best Cooked.* The smaller the grain, the better the texture* You want to cook with food of similar texture like cauliflower/cabbage* Comes in a vacuum sealed pouch that looks like you can microwave if you vent However, if you don't Thoroughly Rinse before cooking, the texture is worse* Once you chew it, you can't forget it. So if you're a visual eater, hide it under sauceOut of the 3, here's what worked & what was a pass.*Fettucine~Rinsed as instructed & tossed in hot sauce.Tasted crunchy & chewy, like a soggy cucumber. Best in salad, maybe.Hard pass in sauce bc even cooked the texture stays & you see it coming* Ramen~After the cold fettucine experience, everything else was cookedAdded to soup. Made a Tom Yum with Kimchi. The texture of the kimchi was similar to the Ramen Konjac & it worked* Rice~This was the fave & would do again.Did a Stir Fry with Broccoli. Again, the texture of broccoli complimented Rice.Heated sesame oil & soy in a pan, added rinsed rice with garlic & ginger powder. If you must do Gluten Free, the Rice is the Best choice.Especially cooked in oil, with food of a similar soggy crunch. The fettuccini will never be touched again so using for Halloween Party Tricks. It's Very Filling, as Konjac is, so good Carb Substitute for weight loss. While as whole this is a pass in our household, it still fared well with some practice.Deserves 4 Stars as a viable option for those with Dietary challenges.

Stinky - rinse well
This is a typical double packaged konjac product in water. If you’ve had it before from other brands, this is comparable.Early konjac brands had a really bad smell when first opened. Very potent fish. You resolved this with lots of rinsing and a hearty sauce. Some products have found ways to remove the smell - this has not.I rinsed 3-4 times and the smell was 90% gone. I then threw this on a pan I had just used to sear some ham steaks and swirled around with the smallest amount of olive oil for one minute. The noodles deglazed the pan and absorbed all the hammy goodness resulting in the picture. Added some salt/seasoning and it was ready to go.My husband and I along with our tween really likes this. My younger kiddo thought the noodles were too foreign in texture and hated them. They do have a traditional squeaky texture of konjac, but I enjoyed them. The addition of oat fiber doesn’t make this product gross or different from what you’re use to as long as you don’t have an expectation of this being exactly like wheat pasta.
