Wow! I wish I’d started using these years ago!I have genuinely heavy periods with clots, no apologies for detail, this is why I had my doubts about them. They are super absorbent, super super comfy. Suddenly I feel sorry for babies wearing disposable nappies because that’s what I feel I’ve been using with ‘conventional’ disposable towels. Now I have the better towelling version 🙂If you’re considering making the change for any reason (for me it was environmental) do it. You’ll figure out logistics of changing them when you’re out and washing them, it’s no big deal.

These are fantastic! I have been using these for a few months now and I really wish I had found them sooner. I don’t know why I ever used anything else! They are much more comfortable than disposable towels, no unwanted folding or sticking. I can hardly tell I am wearing one. I also like the fact that you can change them in public without the annoying rustle of plastic (just keep the bag handy for used ones). I was worried about how absorbent they would be but I am yet to have any leaks (unlike disposable ones). The idea of fleece down there worried me slightly, but I have worn them throughout the summer months and during sporting activities and haven’t felt they are too warm. As for washing afterwards, I give them a quick rinse under cold water and then chuck them in the washing machine on a “normal” wash, I don’t find they need to be soaked beforehand. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of making the change from disposable to reusable. Do it now!

The reusable pads have really cute pictures on them, stays in place well, and washes very easily, but the fleece material on the other side makes things REALLY toasty down there. I wish a more breathable material could have been used to make it a much more comfortable experience. Unfortunately, this was a bit of a deal breaker for me.

Without going into too much detail, my flow is not consistent. I wanted to try these ones first because they're not that expensive and they do work great. I don't have any stains on them, they were delivered super fast, they rinse off easily in cold water, they dry super quick, smells have not lingered on them. Like, I have put them in the washing machine for 30 minutes, cold wash, no detergent. And when I have come back maybe an hour or two later, they have 80% dried so I just put them on a radiator afterwards to dry off. It does reduce some of the typical annoyances of relying on sticky substances as well - these pads will not shift as much or magically fold under and stick to themselves like normal pads do.But you will want bigger ones if like me your blood tends to go outside the range of a typical pad because these are the exact size of what I would say is a normal pad and I didn't check size first. It is definitely worth making the switch over all though, much less of a hassle.

Read a lot of review before buying these as I was sceptical as to whether they would be able to handle a heavy flow. These are excellent! So comfortable and easy to clean. I soak mine in cold water for an hour or so to get rid of any stains and then hand wash them with soap. You can also wash them in the washing machine after soaking in cold water to get rid of stains. So simple and wonderful! This would last your whole cycle on a rotation if you’re cleaning them after use. Also they are not so big to be so noticeable with lots of clothing. Super chuffed.
