Q: Was anybody else missing a syringe to adjust the amount of air inside theirs? Mine doesn't have one.

Not much help to you, but mine came with a syringe.

Q: I've just got my Sandscape & there are lots of small air bubbles - it's working ok but looks unsightly. Any ideas how to remove/make them one?

Thank you for your question. The role of the small bubbles in sand painting is mainly to block the sand from falling too fast, so the small bubbles are necessary to exist. You can use the sand painting adjuster to adjust the bubble, generally the bubble of 7 inch sand painting is kept at 0.5 inch, 12 inch sand painting bubble is kept at 0.7 inch.

Q: How long does it take to fall? I want to use it as a rough hour glass

The falling time of sand depends on the amount of air in the sand painting. When there is more air in the sand painting, the speed of sand falling is slower. When there is less air in the sand painting, the sand falls faster. You can use the attached syringe to adjust the air in the sand painting and control the speed of sand falling.
