Review: You want to watch it boil - This is such a beautiful kettle I really do want to sit and watch it boil! It boils quickly. It has a lovely gentle purring noise as well. My video makes it sound louder than it is. The spout is narrower at the end than my last kettle so you can really direct the flow of the water when you pour. It is really gleaming and looks robust. The red is so shiny you can see your reflection in it. Lid glides off easily. Best kettle I’ve had and worth the money. Everyone admires it! I looked at another review about the lid falling in and this is not true for mine. I could not force the lid down if I tried. It must have been updated. Empty mine weighs about 920g.

This is such a beautiful kettle I really do want to sit and watch it boil! It boils quickly. It has a lovely gentle purring noise as well. My video makes it sound louder than it is. The spout is narrower at the end than my last kettle so you can really direct the flow of the water when you pour. It is really gleaming and looks robust. The red is so shiny you can see your reflection in it. Lid glides off easily. Best kettle I’ve had and worth the money. Everyone admires it! Unfortunately I ordered with the UK plug. I had it in my cupboard since I bought it. Didn't know until recently it had a UK plug on it. My advise is to make sure you are buying from the amazon.com.au site or send a message to Amazon before you purchase to make sure you are getting the correct plug
