I was joking with my partner, that he needed something fun to wear to a friend’s birthday party… and I was looking forward to wearing my party dress. And then it occurred to me, I could buy him the kilt that has been on his wish list for more than a year, and he would have a “dress“ for the party too. He loves it! He had followed the measurement instructions, measuring over his navel, and the fit is just right. The garment is comfortable and flattering.My only frustration was upon laundering it, after the event. He got some food on his kilt so we washed it according to the instructions. The hem is not completely finished, so there were some loose threads that became noticeable. And it took a lot of love and determination to iron the kilt, and it absolutely required ironing. Laundering had left the garment badly wrinkled.

So far so good. Fit as I expected, It's staying dark black after a wash. good kilt for the money.

Bought this for the hubby for a birthday present. HE LOVES IT! Loves the freedom! We went with manufacturer suggestion for measuring at the navel. Perfect fit. There is enough room if he gains a pound or two, but also we can adjust if he loses some. I would totally buy another one!
