Essick Air4400 Replacement Universal Fill Hose for Humidifiers

It does the job for me. I can't get it to attach to the faucet, but my old hose was falling apart and hasn't been able to attach for a long time. If I hold it on, it doesn't leak at all and lets me fill the bottle fast. There is a kink that is impossible to get out, but other than that it works.

When I looked for a hose to attach to my kitchen faucet I was surprised at how few choices there are. This seems a little pricey for a plastic tube with a rubber thingie on it, but hey it works.The black gripper part could be tighter for my faucet - if I have the water on high I have to hold it with my hand - but I think probably it's designed bulky in order to fit over as many faucet designs as possible.As someone else here mentioned, you might want to use a clip to fasten the end of the hose to keep it aimed squarely into where the water is going. I didn't, and until I got ahold of it, that buckin' bronco was flipping around like crazy. My fault.A couple of days after I got this, the toilet had a problem and until the plumber got there we had to use a bucket to fill the tank so we could flush it. This item was super useful because none of our faucets will accommodate anything as high as a bucket.

Works well

When I received this hose it was not rolled up it was FOLDED in fourths. After trying to work out the FOLDS I attached the hose to my faucet and it leaked as bad as the hose I replaced it with. It not only leaked it squirted water all over the counter and the wall behind the sink. It's not worth returning. going in the trash. Do Not buy this product. The only reason I gave it One star is because you had to choose one.

Works great

This works well fro smaller faucets but is hard to use if you have the newer larger aerators on your bath room sinks. Also a longer hose would help. I added 10 feet to mine so I wouldn't have to roll my humidifier over the Hump (threshold going into the bath room. My humidifier is in the hall, to get good circulation.A second size with a larger cup to go over larger faucet aerators would be a good option, and a 10 foot hose. I'd pay twice as much for that one if I could find it.

The tube is a thick plastic which would normally be a good thing however it was packaged folded not rolled and upon arrival has bends resulting in kinks throughout the tube.These “Kinks” will not go back to original working shape (and I’ve tried) and the tube of course will not pass water causing the rubber funnel to immediately pop off. Avoid this.

Au prix que l'on paie pour un simple boyau en plastique, la compagnie pourrait l'allonger de quelques pouces. On doit donc être deux pour l'emplir : un pour tenir le boyau au lavabo, et un pour tenir le boyau dans l'humidificateur.

A good product with one big drawback, that is the length of hose attached to the faucet connection. It need to be at least 6 Inches (15 cm.) longer but 12 inches (30.5 cm.) or more would be even better. The reason being that most faucet connections are from a counter fixture which is 32 " to 42 " up from the floor and 18" to 24" back from the counter front . By the time you add this distance to the placement availability of a Humidifier the hose length is just (in our situation) barely long enough. R & D and Q.A. at Essick Air should/needs to review this one.

almost $15 for this too short cheap hose with a fitting that fits none of the four taps in the house without unscrewing the head every time you fill the humidifier. Don't waste your money. Spend $5 at the hardware store for something you can whip together on your own.

Too short and not convenient

Really useful add on, but I wish it was a bit longer.
