This light appears to be well-made. The motion sensor is in the center of the light itself, so the light must be pointed toward the motion you want to detect. It will detect motion at about 10 feet.I use it in a garage. The light switch in my garage is not conveniently located at the walk-through door. I have the light pointed at the door so that it comes on when I enter the garage. It works well enough for me to see to raise or secure the door after dark.

Needed something to light up basement steps this is very bright and does a great job.

I love this motion detector light. I use on my screened porch and it has been so nice to have when I am entering the porch on dark nights with low lighting. I also hope that it will distract anyone unwanted from coming on to my porch at night. The light is well made and does a great job. I’m happy with my purchase.

The sensor works well when motion is detected in my garage where I don't need turn on the light switch for a short visit. The light is bright enough to walk through, but not doing a work.

Convenient to aim where needed. Goose neck works well. Light is cool white and not glaring and well defused.

Did your apartment come with a closet but no light? Well, mine did. So this is perfect for the outlet. The motion detection means I don't have flip any switches and the motion response time is quite good. It does require me to shine the light in the direction of the motion, so the light does have to shine in my eyes a bit (in the direction of the motion, but that's ok for a closet). I'm really looking forward to the next iteration which has the motion sensor away from the light so that you can illuminate the closet without having to move inside the closet, but rather just by opening the door. Great product, would recommend. I got 2 at home for over 6 months now.

GOOD ITEM

This motion light turned out to be perfect for my needs. I can point it in a direction to avoid something in front of it because of the short goose neck and it is bright. Just as I hoped for. I have a 3 season porch and the door on the porch has a doggy door in it. I do not have a light switch inside the house to control lights on the porch. I can safely open the kitchen door at night to let the dogs in and not worry someone is hiding on the porch. The door is large enough for a smaller person to squeeze through.
