Dress in Ireland: A History Paperback – 1 November 1999

The book was worse than they said, a disaster. It was already expensive in itself and I accepted it, but when I saw the state it was in, with what it cost me, I felt cheated. It was underlined with thick coloured markers, with drawings, etc.

This book is amazing if you are trying to research historic clothing in Ireland. All of the online research I have done really doesn't have much information, but leads to this book. This book is very informative, contains extant pieces, and is very easy to follow!

The most definitive source on Irish clothing from early until 20th C. Indispensible for historians, reenactors etc.Expensive but a must-have.Arrived promptly, in excellent condition. Exactly as described.
