I purchased this because we have three cats and three dogs. I have use lots of other crate types for transportation and they just didn't seem comfortable, spacious, or easy to clean.This is not like the others. It's not made of the hard plastic that is heavy to carry and uncomfortable for your pets. It is very similar to a duffel bag however it is stronger and more durable.I've inserted a picture so that you can see it stands up and doesn't flop over. I've used this with my cats and my Chihuahuas. They don't associate this type of carrier with other types of crates. They seem comfortable and happy.The carrier is easy to throw into the washing machine or to wipe out by hand.My teacup Chihuahua likes to use this is her private bed. ( If we leave it out )The venting creates a good airflow for your animals. I was able to put a bit of food and water, toys and a little blanket without everything spilling. That has been a problem with other crates that are of this material. This one is by far so much more durable and I did not have the spillingissue. It also somewhat molds to the seat so it doesn't cause motion sickness to my animals.I'm very happy with this carrier and definitely would suggest it for people with cats or small dogs.For reference I use this with my cat that weighs 12 pounds and my dogs that way between two and 14 pounds.Great product and I will get tons of use because I use this primarily to take them back-and-forth to the vet or on trips. I like that it can be used as a carrier and they can use it as a bed when they are away from home.

I added a picture for refrence if anybody still decides to purchase this after reading my review. My pug is 6months old and about 14in tall 17 inches long, he fit snuggly. I will be returning this carrier because while flying with UNITED express the top zipper busted. The zipper came undone once again at the end of our trip while waiting for the flight. My dog didn’t use force to get out, it was just a cheap zipper. Another thing to note is that the two white rods up on the top of the carrier kept poking out of the sides and bothering my dog. I wish this carrier would’ve have worked because it’s great price and nice looking, unfortunately it is cheaply made.

Did not use on a plane, however, its roomy and sturdy and my dogs like it.

It looked like it was made well but the specifications don’t match the carrier. It was too tall and long to meet airline codes. I sent it back because I needed it to fit under an airplane seat.

Very attractive but when I first unzipped the zipper, it split. I rezipped it and that seems to have fixed it as I have had no further problems with it. My puppy, (Chihuahua) ran into it playing and it collapsed on one side. I contacted the company with these concerns and a recommendation that the supports could be a little firmer to perhaps prevent the top from collapsing so easily. They responded quickly and addressed my concerns in an appropriate manner, even to replacing the product if necessary. The design of this pet carrier is fantastic. It offers storage pockets for additional puppy items and ventilation controlled by unzipping the various zipped vents so that you can control more or less ventilation. The floor is soft. Simply, a wonderful design. I have had no further problems with the carrier and due to its design and this company's expedience to resolve any issues I might have even up to replacing if necessary, I would have no difficulty in ordering from this company in the future.

I bought this carrier so that my cat could travel with me to Florida on a plane. The cat is a Houdini when it comes to being locked up. So I thought she would scratch her way out of the carrier in no time. I bought it about a month before the big trip and placed it on the floor, sometimes with treats in it, other times baited with catnip. I also locked her up in it for 2-4 hours at a time,so she could see that no harm would come her way.I am happy to report that she and I survived an 8 hour trip in one piece. The carrier fit well under my seat, and she looked somewhat comfortable. I will now use this carrier for all my cats vet visits.All in all this carrier is great. The bottom comes out to be cleaned, its light and durable. Has two small pockets, where i placed some wipes and treats.

I purchased this carrier for my cat because of the features, but particularly because of the top and side openings. It's well made and sturdy. I was glad to be able to order and receive it the same day since I'd forgotten I had to throw away the last carrier. The price was right and it fit Bella perfectly. She had space to turn around and she laid comfortably once she calmed down. She hates the car ride. The only thing I can think of that would make it better would be for the carrier to come with an optional tiny soothing sound or slow vibrating machine (small and thin enough to fit under the mat) that would calm those kitties and pooches that don't like to ride.

Poor construction, poor materials, worse design. Bag came apart on the inside with sharp piping sticking out that could've poked my little angel. Even though it weighs less than my new bag, it felt heavier because of the placement and materials of the handles. Please don't waste your money.
