This is so much better (and less expensive) than the rocker switches available at local auto shop.

The lights stopped working suddenly on our Yamaha golf cart. After checking the main 10 amp fuse, I decided we either had a short or the lighting switch had gone bad. Our switch is mounted on the driver side of the front cup holder. You simply pop out the cup holder piece (use a small flat blade screwdriver to do this. You can then access the back of the switch. Be sure to note how the wires are attached before you disconnect them. Then you simply unscrew the plastic nut on the back of the switch, and you can pull the switch out from the front of the plastic piece. Remove the new plastic nut on your new switch, push the switch into place, and secure the switch by installing the plastic nut on the back of the switch. (note, the little red light on the switch should be on the top of the switch face). Reconnect the wires, pop the cup holder into place. Turn the switch on and hopefully it fixes your lighting issue.
