MARADONA: THE BOY. THE REBEL. THE GOD.

Good book for the generation which grew up dreaming to be someone like him
Facts described in the book are well known, that doesn't matter; it's refreshing to look at them from a different viewpoint, which this book really provides.

La Mano de Guillem
A história de Diego Maradona já foi contada centenas de vezes. Mas vale a pena revisitá-la pelas palavras de Guillem Balague

The highs and lows of football’s high priest!
Excellent overview of the Master’s life, warts and all. The story is illuminated with interesting and obscure anecdotes from his early years in Argentina and conveys with grim candour, the difficulty of emerging in a society gripped with instability and casual violence. The tale itself is worthy of the mythical gods of lore and defies belief at every turn.Maradona himself is revealed as a flawed individual who flew a little to close to the sun, but his importance to the modern game of football is unparalleled. He is the ultimate deity of the sport, a talent beyond compare and this book does much to introduce the complexity of his story to a wider audience. Recommended.

Good buy
Good well researched book and explores all sides of Maradona's personality

Short sighted and out of touch
The author seemingly lacks credibility amongst his audience and appears completely out of touch with the game of football. His inability to view things from alternative, more knowledgable subject matter experts really does make for a disappointing, one dimensional output. Time is precious therefore when I decide to read a book, nothing but the best is good enough. Sadly, the author disappoints. UTFT!

Fantastic Read
This was a very well documented story of Maradona’s life. I thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down - a real page turner.
