Easy to use once you figure it out? durable and bright color hard to loose. Weight isn’t too bad but it’s sort of bigger in size. Great gift value.

The media could not be loaded. It’s perfect for drip castles and writing messages. It’ll take some perfection to our method and maybe use a sand sifter beforehand to get rid of the little pebbles and broken shells. My daughter liked watching her drop castle form. It really did mix the sand and water in perfect portions and easily stacked up!Little kids will need help to fill it. It’d be easier if there was a cover for the hole to plug the water until you’re ready to use it but I see this getting a lot of use by the older kids!

We really wanted to love this one, especially for my pouring-obsessed little one. This took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to use. When you get the sand consistency just right (minimally/moderately wet sand on one side and water on the other) it mostly does work. When it does work, my little ones were very excited to use it. It was incredibly frustrating for them when a small rock or small pieces of shell got stuck in the opening. It's a hit or miss.

My three yr old needed some help to keep this working , but it was really cool sand toy.An older child keep probably keep it working by themselves.

We saw these on Instagram and thought they would be so fun for our trip to the beach. The videos were awesome. Perhaps it was user error but it just didn’t work the way we were hoping. It seemed to be great quality but just didn’t make the fun drip sand castles well. It would get clogged and the kids were pretty bored with it after a few minutes of trying to get it to work. I loved the concept but the execution just wasn’t great. It’s a good size, could be fun if it worked properly. Just didn’t turn out as cute and fun as we were hoping.

Nice toy

Don't bother with this. I fail to see how anyone could write a good review of this useless toy. We were very careful in how we used it, after seeing a few reviews of it getting clogged (but so many good reviews, so I bought it). No matter what we did, it pretty much didn't work. We even experimented by switching sides for the sand and water. Nope. Didn't work better. We sifted the sand to remove the rocks and seaweed (which is a pain) and put it in the proper side. We added water and it either ran out and left the sand behind, or the sand got wet and clogged the end. We found that using about half the water, it sort of worked, but using half the water it emptied in seconds. Not worth it. We left it on Cape Cod, because it was crap.
