Nice!
Douk audio makes some really nice products. I'm using this between a WiiM Ultra and my Studio Monitors. I'm not a music producer I just enjoy the needles moving as a throwback to earlier days. They seem accurate to me. The display is very customizable with many colors and ranges of brightness. Some reviewers have mentioned a hum and/or noise but that may be because of placement or lower quality cables. I'm using Monoprice Premium cables (Very reasonably priced) for my run and there is no noise whatsover. It's very nicely constructed and the display is gorgeous. It's really eye candy, but it's NICE eye candy! One minor item to note is that the button on the back to select line in or MIC is somehow reversed on mine. MIC=Line In and Line In=MIC. I don't know how this got past quality control and I'm a little disappointed but besides that all is good.

Quality feel
First of all this thing is quite useless, but I like it. The enclosure is all metal with a nice finish and it has a bit of weight to it. The on/off button has a nice quality feel along with the rotary knob on the back. The ability to adjust the color and brightness of the meters is a real plus. The mic on the back will ensure there is no degrading your audio signal if you don't want to use the RCA jacks. If I could change anything I wish it was wider, had a little more size to the meters, and had all the controls on the front panel.

I like it
Mostly a decoration but it functions properly. The build quality is very good. It truly monitors both channels independently. Looks very good on my desk with my mini tube amp. I marked down by 1 star because of the display color change method is tedious to get it to display a proper color/level on the gauge faces, this did not work as easily as the instructions made it out to be.

Fun, eye candy meter
Seems solid built. Serves no purpose other than eye candy. But fun.

Very Well Made Great Features.
This is exactly what I was looking for to add some nostalgia and action to my mini home theater. It has a vast amount of colors to s=chose from and light intensity. The colors also change a bight as you adjust the Intensity I love this feature. You can connect via RCA or use the internal Microphone. I choose to use the internal microphone, as it was an easy set up. You have the ability to adjust the sensitivity which is really good. I was able to property dial it on so that when I max out my system it hits the red section. It is very well made and strong I was impressed at the built quality. I will be buying more of their products.

itโs professional fun
it does just exactly what itโs supposed to do! Nothing really worthwhile. Thatโs what makes it so fascinating. Itโs great to move around to different places. Itโs built like a tank.

Hidden Gem in Amazon Forest!
I understand that Amazon reviews can sometimes be unreliable, so please take this review with a grain of salt. First and foremost, this product doesn't provide any sound enhancements; its sole purpose is aesthetic. I personally wanted to reminisce about my teenage years, and this device fulfills that nostalgia brilliantly. It's a beautifully crafted, sturdy device that serves its intended purpose well. The Gain, Light, and Color settings are just perfect. However, I must admit that the instructions could use some improvement, but nothing in life is perfect. I connected this device to my Yamaha Amp via its output connection, and it worked like magic. I absolutely adore this thing!

Piece of junk dont buy
I got the first one and hooked it to an Onkyo 2 channel stereo amplifier hooked to a Schiit Valhalla 2 preamp with a signal from a Schiit Multibit DAC. This is about $1500 worth of high end gear, so I figured this little VU meter would be classy to go along with it. Well, the right channel slowly failed after a week. So I returned it for exactly the same item and it failed OUT OF THE BOX this time, same channel. Clearly, these guys have a quality issue. I hooked the same line out from my Onkyo tuner to a spectrum analyzer and the signal is clear with no noise. Beware of horrible quality, look elsewhere.

Great VU Meter
Very high quality all metal casing, has good input selection and the variable colours and brightness options are a bonus, looks great with my vintage audio setup and is very responsive. Everyone comments on it when they see it, perfect addiction for an audiophile.

Nice!
Well made product that does not look or feel cheap. Lighting is awesome and meters bounce accurately. Initially I had a hum from it because it was plugged into my receiver so I plugged it into the power bar and all is well now. Recommended.

Good effects, with caution to application.
Good item for personal devices. I had trouble hooking onto my system speaker outputs. The shared common inputs did not "play well" with my isolated neg speaker output. Worked great, once I added a pair 6.8K ohm isolation resistors to the negative inputs.
