Absolutely love this machine. The De’Longhi Magnifica Evo has a clean and modern look that made my kitchen feel a little more upgraded. Setup was really simple too. The first drink I tried was a latte, and it honestly felt like something I would ordered from my favorite coffee shop. The milk frother made a good thick foam, and the coffee had a great flavor and had no bitterness at all. It came out smooth and really impressive for something made at home. I also really like how many drink options it has. It makes it easy to switch things up depending on what I’m in the mood for. It can do lattes, regular coffee, and even things like hot water for my tea. Cleaning was easy and the removable parts come out quickly, and I love that the milk nozzle has a self cleaning option so the milk doesn't sit inside after every use and get gross. This has been an awesome addition to my morning routine and it's made me visit my favorite coffee shop less since I can just make my own at home now. It's convenient, high quality, and super fun to use. And it helps me make delicious coffees so I'm saving money!

I would recommend using cheaper beans while figuring out your preferred settings. I rarely post reviews, but this one is necessary. The coffee itself is good and there are some nice features, but this machine is not acceptable at this price point. Here’s why: 1) It leaks constantly. When I contacted customer service, the rep suggested I was letting the steam catcher overflow from frothing milk. That’s not the case. I haven’t made a frothed milk drink in three months, and there is still a pool of water under the machine every single day. Enough water to soak my dish drying towels. The catch basin is completely dry, which also points to a separate design flaw: the basin itself is roughly the size of a standard bottle cap. Not exactly a well-thought-out feature. 2) The beans don’t funnel into the grinder properly. A significant amount gets stuck along three of the four sides of the hopper. If you don’t catch it in time, you end up with a weak, watery shot. This requires constant babysitting. 3) The used grounds tray fills at a wildly inconsistent rate. Sometimes it holds a normal amount. Other times it fills after just three pucks and locks you out of making another drink until you empty it. I’ve had this machine for six to eight months and my frustration grows with every use. To top it off, a customer service rep told me they will likely discontinue this model due to known issues and that I should watch my email for a recall notice. If the manufacturer already knows the product is defective, why is it still being marketed and sold?

I like how simple it is to choose your option to get started, load your beans, and then brew your favorite drink. The instructions were very clear about how to get it setup and cleaned out before starting to use the machine. Minimal prep work, and then you can get started after running a few cycles. It even comes with a water tester so you can adjust the water output based on your water hardness. You can set the strength of the brew for both espresso and coffee drinks, and the steamer and hot milk container for drinks like latte's makes the entire process much easier than other machines I've used. This is a top end machine, everything is dishwasher safe, and I recommend cleaning up often after using to keep it clean and ready for the next use. I would have appreciated at least one espresso cup included since that is not something you typically have in the house if you don't have an espresso maker. Other than that, it has everything you need to get started and enjoy coffeehouse level beverages with ease at home. Excited to keep perfecting my latte's and seeing what other fun drinks I can come up with now that I have a top end machine to utilize!

All the external parts can be cleaned with tap water. The coffee infuser is located next to the water tank. To clean it, remove the water tank, open the door, and press the red buttons to pull the infuser out. Rinse it under running water and soak it for about 5 minutes. The manual also recommends not using any detergents to clean the infuser

I've been a De'Longhi customer for years and was waiting for the opportunity to upgrade my previous coffee machine to one that could give me the option to do cappuccinos and lattes without additional tools or equipment. Knowing De'Longhi's quality, I knew that the Magnifica Evo was my chance. The set-up was fast and easy. Instructions are clear and, in no time, I was making my first cappuccino. It came out great. The taste was very balanced and I was able to detect the flavors that coffee is supposed to show in a good cup. Later I did another try adjusting the size of it, by pressing the cappuccino button for 5 seconds (per the instructions) and calculating the right amount. That was perfection! Same thing with the espresso... finding the perfect size takes a few seconds. It's been more that 2 weeks since we got it and the results are consistent. Clean-up is a huge improvement from my previous model, making our lives easier. I know we're going to continue enjoying this machine for a long time and I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a quality automatic espresso and coffee machine.

I’m sorry to have to update my review to say this machine had a sensor go bad and will now only make coffee and hot water. Any button that involves frothing will not come on. I have to say I’m thankful I purchased on Amazon. They took care of me getting a refund with no problem. Very impressed with them. As for Breville, they need to work on this common issue and do a redesign. The way the frothing container has to click in every time, it’s no wonder it broke so soon. Original review: This was the best decision. My husband and I have enjoyed this machine so much. It’s brought our coffee drinking routine to a whole new level. We no longer spend money at coffee shops like we used to do. Now when leaving the house make our own and take it with us. This machine is so easy to clean, easy to use, and a joy to own. It was worth every penny. It does feel a little loud in a quiet home first thing in the morning, but not enough to wake anyone sleeping. After reading all the reviews we did decide to only use distilled/filtered water and make sure to clean annd change filters each time the indicated light comes on. Now that I’ve owned this a couple of months I wouldn’t want to go back to a regular coffee/espresso machine. It just makes the mornings a little brighter.

I have been raving about the De’Longhi Magnifica Evo espresso machine all week now! This incredible machine makes me feel like o have a full time barista making my coffee at home. The machine itself is aesthetically stunning, it is silver with black accents. It has a very modern look to it and matches perfectly with my other appliances. It’s sleek and compact and fits perfectly in my space. It is a very easy to navigate machine as all features are automatic and I am able to make a variety of beverages from the comfort of my own home. This is my first pod less machine and the quality is superb. The taste of the espresso is dense, authentic and the best I have ever tried from an at home coffee machine. So far since I’ve gotten the espresso maker I have tried out a few different beverages, the cappuccino, latte, espresso and regular coffee. The milk froth in my beverages was rich and foamy and not watered down which was a major concern of mine. Every single beverage I’ve tried has been high quality and cafe worthy. I am truly blown away and so ecstatic to add this to my home.

This machine was to replace an old one same name brand. This one has the push button rather than a turning knob, which we love. Overall, we love the machine makes great coffee and the manual is easy to follow.

I am giving this product a 5 star review based on what this machine can do if you enjoy and regularly drink fancy coffees. Unfortunately I am not keeping this machine because it doesn't dispense hot milk in the coffee only option. It only puts milk for the cappuccino and latte option. I don't like adding cold milk to my coffee and it is only a 6oz size, I can't get a long coffee out of it so this machine is not the best coffee maker for me. I ordered another DeLonghi coffee maker that dispenses from 8oz to 24oz and and I will use my Nespresso milk foarmer to get the milk I need.

No incluye la solución para descalcificarla así que hay que considerar comprarla con tiempo para cuando el equipo la pida, después de unos meses de uso. Prepara café americano, expreso, cappuccino, café sobre hielo y agua caliente para té. Tiene un contenedor removible para la leche de forma que se puede quitar y guardarlo en el refrigerador. Al encenderlo y apagarlo hace un ciclo de limpieza que requiere que se tenga un vaso para recibir el agua que usa.
