Great garden fun.
This water wall is great. It gets my child outside having fun! They can create different ways for the water to travel down the wall. It is well made and easy to put together

Water wall two thumbs up-family project
I bought this water wall for my 3 year old.My dad put it together -screwed all the wooden parts together to make the "Wall".It looks pretty sturdy and he did an excellent job. Pre drilled holes and screws. It took about half an hour of putting things together, while the child bounced with anticipation and excitement, so I would suggest having something else to distract the little ones until the wooden wall is ready to go (and pre-attach the guttering clips to guttering, so it's all ready to just slot in by the child). We had a bubble machine on standby 😊It needs to be put on a flat surface and won't stand flush against a wall due to the triangular feet-but this is part of what makes it so sturdy 👍 we put ours in the garden so excess water would water the grass. The screw-tap attachment at top of reservoir is a bit fiddly -if it's not put on straight then water leaks continuously down the wall. There needs to be a good flow for the screw attachments and lever attachment to work properly but my 3year old enjoyed manipulating the moving parts either with or against the flow. The child can just about reach the reservoir on tip toes so needed help filling it-which was a lot! But the bucket provided was good for catching most of the water to reuse.Adults pretty much put the plastic pieces in too (as putting on the clips for the guttering and joinery pieces is a bit fiddly for a child) but I think in the future because the bits are all together the child may be able to take them out and move them to wherever suits. The wooden wall could do with being varnished as it's going to see a LOT of water and this would increase longevity. The child was VERY wet after a long play so I suggest a swimsuit but this was because they wanted to interact with all of the pieces.I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I anticipate a LOT of water play over the summer.Everybody was very curious about it-even the adults and it was very enjoyable to watch. It's a bit expensive but I weighed up buying the individual pieces of wood, drilling holes and finding attachments and thought it was worth the investment (because generally you spend either time or money on these things) and they are all built for eachother so it was worthwhile.Only used once so far so we'll see how long it lasts...

Lots of water fun
Got this for my 3 year old grandson we had lots of fun putting it together and have had hours of fun playing with different water runs. At first some of the gutters kept coming out but when the wood got a bit wet all the bits were tight fitting

Worth It, When Its Up
This is not my first rodeo when building a child's toy. I have had a few Christmas Eve's sat in the upstairs bathroom spending the night building a doll's house or bike. You have to take this level of preparation with the 'Playhouse Waterfall' as it comes in a box of bits. The legs, all the planks and all the plastic bits all in parts. The higher the price of a toy, the more I like it to come pre-built. The 'Waterfall' is a pretty penny, and I would have liked to have just opened a box and be away. No chance. The instructions are not great, but by looking at images you can get the idea. The screws have to be forced into the wood, making this build even more tricky than IKEA furniture. Once the base is built you can add the tank and the slide elements. These are simple push in sections, but they go in easier than come out. Most children will need help to reconfigure the slides and also fill the tank as it is quite high up.Once up and running this is a great toy, especially during a heat wave. It sits quite nicely against a garden wall so does not take up too much space and the quality of the woods and plastics is high. I do think that for the price, it does not offer enough replay value or different ways to play. There is a lot you can buy for the current price of asking and I don't think that this Waterfall has enough to justify being first choice. If you do have children desperate for one, this is a sturdy and fun Waterfall, once it is built.
