This is one of my favorite purchases! These glass jars are huge, have very thick glass, and the tops really have a great seal. I did put furniture sliders on the bottom so I could move them on my countertop with ease because they are pretty heavy.

I've really been loving this jar for my newest terrarium! It's nice and spacious, so I was able to fit some hardscaping in addition to multiple plants. It's also tall enough to accommodate a sizable drainage layer and plenty of substrate for the plants to grow in. Additionally, there is a handle on top of the lid that is actually perfect for a clip-on grow light, which the plants have been enjoying very much. Overall it was a worthwhile purchase, and I'm glad we went with a bigger jar to get a little "ecosystem" effect.

I just got this glass jar with an airtight metal lid, and while I’m really happy with its functionality, I noticed a few issues right off the bat. The jar itself is great—it’s spacious and the transparent glass is perfect for easily seeing what’s inside. The airtight seal is a huge plus since it’ll help keep everything fresh, whether I use it for pasta, snacks, or coffee.However, as soon as I unpacked it, I saw some scratches on the metal lid, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a sleek, polished look, but the scratches make it feel a little less new. On top of that, there are small patches of rust forming on parts of the lid, which is surprising for something I just got. It’s not enough to affect how the lid functions, but it does make me concerned about how it’ll hold up in the long run.Despite these cosmetic flaws, the jar still serves its purpose really well, and the airtight seal works as expected. I’ll definitely use it, but I was hoping for a better presentation, especially for a brand-new item. Hopefully, the rust won’t spread, but it’s something I’ll keep an eye on.

Very nice jar. Optically clear with only a slight suggestion of seam when manufactured. Seems thick and sturdy. Nice silicone gasket. Well packaged. Only distraction is the lid is pressed aluminum where stainless steel would have been ideal.

Great size. I did wash it out before using for a planted tank. Will eventually have betta, snail, and African dwarf frogs

I am a baker and bought these jars to store flour, sugar and dried goods. I buy in bulk and needed something large. I bought 2, to see how much they would hold, I thought they were perfect, so I ordered 2 more, by the time the second order was delivered, the rivets that hold the center of the lid together came loose, on one of the lids, and it is no longer air tight, which lets moisture, from the air, it could let bugs, dust or anything into my dry goods. It was past the date I could return the jar, but I think I will be returning the last 2 I bought, which is unfortunate because they are the perfect size and I planned on ordering several more. The glass is thick, they are nice jars, but for the price, I guess you need to decide if you want to take a chance with the lids.
