Nice add on for your Yamaha
GOODELY Yamaha Rear Brake Disc Guard & Caliper Guard (YZ125)I own two Yamaha YZ125 dirt bikes (2007 & 2008) and they each had plastic caliper and brake disc guards. I upgraded the caliper guards previously with another brand and decided to try out the brake disc guard from the GOODELY set. The laser cut anodized parts look great and have a vibrant blue color. Unfortunately the blue color from GOODELY and the other brand I already had on to protect the caliper isn’t a perfect match, so I might swap in the caliper guard from GOODELY so that the colors match.I must say that even though the old plastic brake disc guard is ugly it did offer wrap around protection. This GOODELY one will likely only prevent some impacts and seems more bling than performance oriented. The build quality seems to be very good though. There is no paperwork with the parts, but the GOODELY Amazon page has images of the assembled parts. Overall a nice add on for your Yamaha bike.

nice upgrade
Outstanding protection! The Yamaha YZ rear brake disc guard is a game-changer. It's rugged, fits perfectly, and provides peace of mind against debris and impacts. Installation was straightforward, and the quality is top-notch. Highly recommended for off-road enthusiasts

I couldn’t figure out how to install them
I looked and tried all different ways and couldn’t come up with a proper install method. And clearly they couldn't either because the lack of instruction. But also cause of the poorest attempt at photo shopping they did on the listing photo. Clearly just drawn on with a crayon. The look great. In your hand holding them but installation is gonna take some tinkering

Looks fantastic
Ok so installing this does take a bit of thinking as there were no instructions. At first i wasnt sure where to put the small blue spacer washer. Also in that spot, a socket has a hard time fitting over the stock bolt due to it being too close to the guard edge. I had to just use a wrench. Doesn't come with the allen wrenches. Minor alignment issues but all in all they both fit and look great. Worth it. Also i made sure to use lock tite. 2018 yz250f

Good looking protection for your dirt bike
I got these guards for my 2007 YZ250. This review reflects mainly the brake caliper guard. I was not able to test the brake rotor guard because it's not compatible with my aftermarket Scotts Performance shark fin guard that was installed by a previous owner of my bike. The product listing is pretty clear in that they don't provide the bolts necessary to attach the guards to your motorcycle. The brake caliper guard needs to be assembled, but it comes with all the needed brackets and screws. When assembling the guards, I would recommend using non-permanent thread locker on the screws. When installing the caliper guard, I needed to use the larger of the two included spacers for proper fit. Due to this spacer, my old bolt was too short. I provided my own M6x30 bolt that worked perfectly. As for the rotor guard, it is not nearly as sturdy or beefy as the Scotts Performance shark fin guard. If you're riding dirt roads or more flowy trails, this rotor guard should be fine. If you're riding more hard enduro or rocky terrain, you would probably need a stronger rotor guard. Appearance-wise, both guards look good to me, though that is very subjective.
