Blade very sharp, very bendy.

I wanted to get a Japanese type pull saw for woodwork. So I've only just started woodworking so cannot say how this fairs out to other brands and styles. What I can say is that it has a large, fairly comfortable, handle. Very plasticky but when you pay peanuts you don't expect to get some exotic wooden handle. The handle can be adjusted for angle but Ive had no need to do this. The blades are sharp on both sides. Even after my abuse they have remained sharp, so thats got to be a plus point. I've used this on soft wood and hard woods but in fairness mainly on beech dowel and dowl plugs. If like me you don't have the funds for better or you just don't know if you can warrant spending more then this is gonna be the Japanese saw for you.

Great for diy, if you have not used one before it may take a few minutes to get used to it. It will give you good results.

This item needs a little file work for it to be perfect. I read some of the reviews before purchasing, and found some correct where they said the blade will not lock in place, this it because the fixing will not pass through the blade. It took about 10 minutes with a file to take off a little excess and now fits perfectly. The saw was worth the effort, great addition to the tool kit.

Delivered as promised

The blade was made of the cheapest metal, non-hardened and as thick as tin foil, all but no rigidity and was adequate for cutting butter on a hot day but that's about all.Such a flimsy piece of trash which is simply not fit for purpose.Amazon, you are better than this, please don't supply this type of rubbish on your site, it simply ruins your good name. Unbelievably disappointed that I could find such trash on this site.

Although I like the quality of this saw and the blade and price are good, its definitely not flush cut, it's a RYOBA saw for cross cutting and rip cutting, flush cut saws don't have bent teeth on the profile. Good pull saw but definitely not flush cutting.

Thought I would try this saw out as it was a little cheaper than some and the boys seem to beat up hand saws around here. Very pleased with this saw, although I have only used it a handful of times so far. I think the cost factor will have me buying more of these rather than the high end saws just because of the abuse my handsaws take. I could buy a few of these for the price i paid for one higher quality saw

Great saw for a great price, you simply can't pass this one up.Package wasn't damaged, blade wasn't bent, saw teeth were protected with guards, easy to assemble, feels good and solid to use, cuts smooth and true.Even arrived a day early so I'm pleased as punch with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking for a good addition to the toolbox!
