I purchased this item after having surgery on my ankle. I had developed a wound sore where the cast was too tight. My podiatrist recommended purchasing a doughnut. This item worked well.

This item has helped my 80 old mom keep her leg elevated to increase circulation in her legs while the ulcers on her ankle heal. She keeps her foot in the pillow and if she falls asleep and her foot falls to the side the leg stays comfortably elevated. She also places he foot on top of the pillow and it does the job of keeping it elevated. This is an ideal comfortable and helpful product.

The pillow, I ordered, is just the right fit and it's very comfortable. It doesn't interfere with my surgical area, so far. I'm satisfied.

Sadly caused tenderness & bruising on my husband's fragile & sensitive skin on ankle & calf - even though generous in size & soft fabric.

Keeps my foot injury elevated and without contact after surgery. Only wish the velcro strap was longer with more velcro to keep this donut from slipping off.
