This motherboard and CPU combo has worked flawlessly. The stock CPU cooler ran hot and kept temperatures around 95 degrees Celsius so I replaced it with an ID Cooling CPU Fan and Heatsink. Good Budget Motherboard and CPU. With the AM4 socket upgrading in the future will be simple. Currently running in a build with an RTX 3060 and 48 GB of DDR4 Ram. It handles running multiple applications at once smoothly and efficiently.

Great value for a solid b650 ATX motherboard. Easy to use, good uefi bios, 4 dimm slots for memory, comes with good wifi antenna. Clean looking up sheild

We finished the build of this computer today and everything works great, I use it for gaming and some home use. The motherboard can be upgraded if you want also so no need to buy another if you wish to. The performance is very nice and quick also. I would recommend it to others to buy and build if they so wish.

Original review: Usb ports were picky to begin with now they disconnect every active usb device repeatedly anytime that usb device or devices are in use. Finally the usb ports just went heywire and my keyboard and mouse (which work on my laptop yes I checked) so much this board is rendered completely unusable…just after the return window closed. Of course that happened. Doesn’t it always? Now I’m without a computer until I get a new board. The good thing (I guess) this board was only meant to be temporary. Just not THIS temporary. So in short STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOARD!!!!!!UPDATED REVIEW: I removed my usb kvm switch because my new board was having the same issue. That solved the problem. Both boards’ usb ports are 100% working fine. In short it wasn’t the board it was the usb kvm switch I plugged into it. This board is up and running now while I wait for a b550.

This bundle isn’t compatible with one another.

At the time of buying it was the most powerful gaming cpu. The 9800x3d came out so its number 2. This is still a great combo that will last 5-10 years with proper care and maintenance. Since the 9800x3d is out the value on this one will probably dip down and be super affordable. I highly recommend it.

Great chip and board. Allot of reviews saying they arnt compatible which just isn’t true. Mine wouldn’t boot at first but found that the ram wouldn’t work in the two black slots. Swapped them to the grey and booted right up. Have no problems.

Got this package 2 weeks ago to upgrade my home built pc. Speed is amazing. Not just in gaming, but was also able to download game updates in a fraction of the time. Simple and uncomplicated to install and boots up lighting fast. Will be using this brand for builds in the future, amazing value

Motherboard and processor were delivered quickly and were well packed. I had to wait for other compnents to be delivered (ordered separately) but once they were received assembly was reasonably straightforward. NOTE! There is no cooler provided with the CPU - you have to provide your own (I chose a water cooler from 'be quiet').Read the manual and check the internet regarding the motherboard! I wasted time and money because there is only a short note on page 1-22 explaning the function of the Q-LEDs on the mobo, and on page 2-24 it indicates that if the yellow LED stays on for more than 30 seconds or nothing is seen on the monitor then there may be a fault.THIS IS NOT CORRECT - the yellow Q-LED stays on while the mobo checks the installed DRAM, so the more DRAM you install, the longer it stays on (in my case as much as 2-3 minutes!). It is worth reading the inernet postings for such informationThe mobo does not come with any drivers so it is necessary to download these from ASUS - at least this way you get the latest versions. Driver installation was no problem excepting getting the best Realtek drivers for my (rather old) 5.1 sound system.
