Worked better than the two jaw
Had a two jaw puller rented from an auto parts store. Tried for what seemed like an hour just slipping and tearing up the inner bearing out. This tool pulled out the race and what wast left of the inner bearing in one try. Was pulling a pilot bearing from a 2001 mustang cobra. 5 minutes and done!

Great for the price
Was replacing my pool pump bearings after it seized up I used this after hitting it with a utility torch and it worked.Just wish the hooking parts were a little more defined but it did the job.

If you have a stuck pilot bearing. Get this immediately.The ONLY thing that got my seized pilot bearing out. A little tricky to get set up securely while using, but this sucker works. The usual hydraulic pressure trick did not work, and slide hammers did nothing. This right here was a life saver. Took a couple tries and some patience but I’d much rather fiddle with this for a bit than have to replace a crank or risk damaging the crank.

Will not work on avaerage size Pilot bearing/bushings
Went to use for the first time yesterday on our '99 Chevy Silverado 1500 w/4.8L V-8. I was under the impression this was the specific tool for removing my pilot bearing. The 3 arms were so loose they moved all over so I taped them together to try and keep them in position. The unit was to big to fit through my bearing so I had to grind quite a bit off all the arms to get it so I could hammer it into the bearing. With the flywheel removed it was unable to extract the bearing completely because the puller ran out of stroke/travel so I had to space up each of the two base arms against the crankshaft. These arms and o-rings holding them were always falling off while trying to line everything up. Very disappointed with product.

This pilot bearing puller did the job effortlessly! Highly recommend. Within seconds, the bearing was out of my 02 Mustang GT.

The finger parts that go deep ito bearing are large
I had to grind a fair bit of material off the fingers so they would go deep enough to reach behind the bearing.I also pressed the pivot point together to keep the arms from being sloppy side to side, and added a rubber 0 ring to keep the finger together for insertion into the bearing. All in all a good unit for the price.

Es un producto regular, los acabados de la herramienta no son de lo mejor pero funciona.Creo que por el costo esta bien.Lo he usado una sola vez y funciono bien, lo probaré mas a ver que pasa.
