This is a great stuff it stops the heat and dropped the sound massively. It has excellent adhesive on the back, so it will stick where it touches. I lined the floor and dog house in the rv.

I was using this in a dog house on my 1996 E-350 Econoline. It had a lot of curves that I had to contend with. Once I had it in, I took a trip with the Econoliner. It noticeably cut down on the heat that was getting into the passenger area from the engine.

Used this in the tub of of my Hotbodies Racing Fiberglass race faring for Yamaha R6. See photo. I used just metal tape in the past and it came off while on the track. This was cut into just 2 pieces and is in pace very nicely. Easy to work with and cut and form!

I actually highly recommend this product. It is very high quality and durable. Very easy to work with and very sticky on the bottom. I like how you can order in different sizes unlike any other product. This foam is not as dense or heave as say Dyna Mat but its completely affordable and will do nearly the same thing in most situations.

Comes in a big roll. I unrolled it and left it in the sun for a bit to get all of the creases out. Uses a butyl adhesive that can jam up your scissors, so have some wd-40 handy to clean your blades. It sticks! Make sure you have the exact shape and positioning you want before pealing off the backing paper. Once you touch this stuff to another surface it is absolutely stuck. I used this product to replace a similar thickness jute that had been installed by the OEM. I also installed it over some Amazon brand sound deadening. Compared to the original there is a noticeable difference in sound and heat from the roof and floor areas to which is was applied.

I used this in the roof of my gmc terrain and also on the floor. On hot days 90 degrees and above my roof would get so hot the heat would come through the headliner making the vehicle unbearably hot, I'm happy to say that once I applied the foam to the roof the roof no longer gets hot at most it may only get slightly warm if the car is in the direct sunlight. I usually park in the shade and remote start the car 5 minutes before I get inside and the vehicle is cold and relaxing. Also the road noise has decreased a lot it's almost hard to hear a fire truck until it gets up on me. Concerning the floor areas, the road noise is all but gone I'm hoping when I change my tires to a brand name tire that will completely eliminate all noise and also the floor no longer gets hot around the transmission and center console floor area. It was a huge piece of material I had more than enough to treat the headliner and floors I still have some left that I'm gonna apply to the firewall under the hood. I'll do a update once I do that and drive for a week or so. I also have a audio system and it sounds so much better without all of the road noise and sound from other cars tires on the highway.

Easy to fabricate and attach. Worked well to supplement a mouse eaten hood insulator.

good for the price, sticks ok, easy to cut. however, if you are looking for a real soundproofing you have to spend more money for the thicker isolations. We used it on our boat for the Yanmar 78hp, less good than the original soundproofing mats which literally fell apart and to dust when touching.

This item arrived folded up and very wrinkled, not rolled up and smooth as pictured in its advert. My first job is to flatten it prior to use. Not really the quality I was expecting. And definitely not worth £20.
