These WORX cordless pruning shears have been fantastic on the allotment. Neighbours keep borrowing them, which says it all. They cut through stems cleanly and effortlessly, and it cuts whatever organic material i can wedge in it..... and I do try and wedge some very thick branches in it. It works perfectly with all my other WORX PowerShare batteries, though do note that this one doesn’t come with a battery or charger, so you’ll need one already or buy separately. A word of caution..... you really need to be conscious of keeping fingers clear. It can be tricky when you’re holding stems with one hand, which may be partially hidden by foliage and operating the shears with the other, because once you squeeze the trigger, it fully completes the cut instantly. A finger will be like butter with this tool.... That said, once you get used to it, it’s quick, satisfying, and a real time-saver compared with manual shears. It's perfect for my arthritic hands.... Overall, it’s a brilliant addition for anyone who spends time pruning or managing plants. Fast, effective, and makes allotment work a lot more enjoyable..... just mind your fingers!

OMG! This is so good, I have a garden with some severely over grown bushes roses, camellias, red robin and others. I bought this thinking it would take some of the effort out of bringing these plants back in to where they should be. It has been amazing no effort to use and the battery lasts for ages. It cuts through the branches with no effort at all. lol my only problem now is getting rid of the clippings

I've found this brilliant - more capable than I expected and easier to use. Some people have complained about the safety procedure to wake it up being too intrusive, but quickly found what was needed to do and even after being put down for several minutes it only took a few seconds to get it back in operation. Maybe they've changed the programming recently. They say up to 1" branches but it was able to easily cut hazel of nearly 1¼" even at an angle, though the blades didn't quite reach all the way over, so a second snip of a couple of mm was needed to make a clean cut. I was able to do the entire job with just these, whereas before I've need secateurs and a power saw (the latter is not much fun when atop a ladder). In my book this is a 5* machine. So why only 4? Well, it's not cheap, especially if you need to get a battery and charger as well, and various other more budget power pruners may be fine for your needs - these are the only ones I've used. However, if you are like me and already using other Worx battery tools then it's probably worth considering. I didn't need it in a hurry so put it on my shopping list and watched the price. Eventually it came on offer at £82.99 instead of £99.99 at which point I ordered.

Absolutely amazing! Great tool.I am disabled and I just trimmed back the ivy between my property and a public footpath. Battery life formonble . NO EFFERT NEEDED. Should have bought one years ago.

If you have bushes and trees to cut back in your garden, you need this. Easy to use and cuts like a hot knife through butter

One of the best things I have purchased. I have a number of Worx items and so I have five batteries to use. This item is great for my arthritic joints in my hands. It will cut through most things that I have held it up to (as long as the jaws can get it in, it will chop it). There are two opening settings which I don't really see the point of but that's fine as I only use it on the wider faster setting. A great bit of kit for the garden.

Utili, con un minimo sforzo...direi nullo, un ottimo taglio dei rami potatura...e avendo altri "attrezzi" Worx,utilizzo della pila altre attrezzature...ma con una pila , si lavora paio d'ore senza problemi...non si useranno più le forbici classiche se non per piccolissimi rami...un ottimo acquisto, aggiungerei "guadagno" di tempo sicuramente. CONSIGLIO.

Diseño perfecto, solida, bien hecha, El funcionamiento impecable, la he comprado sin batería porque tengo otras herramientas WORX y en total he juntado 6 baterías con lo cual no que quedo nunca parado. Lo principal de esta máquina es su enorme potencia para cortar ramas incluso secas, la marca indica 2,5 y esa medida se la come sin despeinarse, pero medidas muy superiores también son posibles, y si no con dos cortes no hay problema. antes cuando tenía que podar hiedras o madreselvas por ejemplo si me tiraba 1 hora podando ramas medianas a mano, llegaba a terminar varios días con la mano lesionada. Con esta máquina he podado 2 árboles arizónica con ramas considerables y muy pocas con sierra pues el 95% se lo ha comido la Worx, se pueden alcanzar ramas lejanas sin problema y sin posiciones peligrosas, corta más que la tijera larga y no hay que apoyarla en nada, he tardado 5 días y la batería con uso constante ha durado aprox. 1 h y media cada carga. Lo mejor es que he podido despedazar todas las ramas para meterlas en la bolsa sin ningún esfuerzo. Consejos: Muchísimo cuidado porque la máquina tiene un peligro real si te pilla un dedo, se puede poner perdida de resina dependiendo el árbol que sea, hay que limpiarla, para ello quitamos la batería, rascamos con el limpiador de la vitro, le damos con un paño y aguarrás hasta sacar toda la porquería y luego con limpia cristales, se seca bien y procedemos al engrase con aceite de silicona. A la máquina le dura mucho el afilado, siempre y cuando tengamos cuidado de no pillar ningún cable de acero por ejemplo. La recomiendo totalmente y si fuese necesario la volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.
