The 100: The Complete Fourth Season [Blu-ray]

The sci fi aspect of this show is great. The acting, effects and editing are flawless. I’m only giving it 3 stars because none of the characters are likable. They’re all a bunch of murderous thugs. Just when you think a character is a decent person, s/he does something unforgivable. The worst offenders are the regulars we’re supposed to care about. I still like the show for its good sci fi aspects, but grudgingly. It’s hard to like a show when I can’t identify with any of the characters. If there are any exceptions, I suppose Octavia might be one. This show is driven by endless tragedies created by the thuggery and stupidity of the main characters. If that’s your thang, you’ll love this show.

4 stars for the series but am disgusted that, yet again, it is a series where I have bought 1 to 3 on Blu Ray and now 4 only gets a DVD release. Makes me so angry. I thought Blu Ray was supposed to be replacing DVD but it appears we are now going backwards. It really is annoying to have several season on Blu Ray then you get the rest on DVD. I would just love someone to explain why, I really would.. Words fail me!! I read that there was going to be a Blu Ray release but it appears that was not true. I will not be buying this on DVD so it may well be the end of The 100 for me. If they can't treat their customers with respect then they cease to get my money!! Update 30 June 17: Hoorah!! A Blu-ray release in America. Thank you - now ordered.

I really like this series, but the 3rd season discs kept freezing and skipping but not nearly as bad as the 4th season DVD’s. I have cleaned them from any smudges and they are not scratched. It is very frustrating because you have lost so much by the time it starts up again. Not the quality I expect from Amazon! Would NOT recommend buying these. I don’t have this issue with any other DVD’s just the 100 series

I thought every episode of the fourth season was fantastic. The blu-ray discs look great, but beware if you buy the DVD version of this season. Whoever digitally formatted the DVD discs did not do a quality control check and the shows skip, freeze and literally give up all together. So if you do not want to have that frustrating experience, buy the Blu-Ray which plays perfectly.

I always enjoy this show, but I think season 4 was much more solid than season 3, which I still enjoyed but had some stumbles along the way, as I think they tried to accomplish too much and the cast got too big. Season 4, on the other hand, felt re-focused on the core characters, which is a good thing. It started solid and improved steadily as the season went on, with the season finale being maybe the best one they've done yet. Definitely can't wait to see where they go with season 5 after that cliffhanger.

I ordered seasons 1,2,3 and 4 from this company. The first 3 were great.Season 4 keeps stalling and skipping. Very frustrating to watch.Can't get ahold of company for exchange.While reading reviews after receiving, I see I am not the only one with this issue.

I hate so many of the favorites died but the writers have managed to still keep a good storyline going. Looking forward for the release of season 5.

Season 4 of "The 100" pretty good watch. I wasn't sure if they had much story to tell after Season 3, but the writers kept it interesting and the Cliffhanger Ending makes me want to see where they will go with Season 5

hi love this show but had major problem the #2 dvd would not play right, an yes i got it replaced and same thing the dvd #2 had the same problem. I send them back. I bought one at the store same thing. had anyone had this problem????????

Reçu comme prévu, avec la version française, à choisir parmi d'autres langues anglais et espagnol.Cette saison ne manque pas de rebondissements et de réflexions de société et ne dépare pas des autres saisons.A quand la suite ? pour l’intérêt du film et pour ne pas avoir à revoir la totalité de la série comme ce fut le cas avant de voir cette saison, mais ce fut avec plaisir.

Tout en restant une excellente série, cette 4ème saison m'a semblé moins intense et prenante que les autres.J'ai trouvé la menace d'une nouvelle apocalypse nucléaire certes crédible mais aussi moins palpable et angoissante que les menaces des saisons précédentes.En exagérant un peu, je dirais que l'histoire se borne à montrer les survivants chercher d'abord un plan A ... qui finit par échouer ... Ensuite ils trouvent un plan B qui échoue lui aussi ... Après c'est au tour du plan C qui échoue comme les 2 premiers ... etc. Au final, cette idée pourra se révéler un peu répétitive pour certains. C'est peut-être pour ça que la saison ne comporte que 13 épisodes au lieu des 16 habituels.A part ça, le reste est de bonne facture et est d'un niveau assez similaire aux 3 premières saisons. Et la fin de la saison me donne vraiment envie de voir la saison 5.Donc dans l'ensemble, j'ai bien aimé cette saison et pour moi Les 100 reste l'une des meilleures séries SF de ces 10 dernières années. Mais comme j'ai un peu moins accroché qu'aux autres saisons, j'ai mis 3 étoiles.J'espère que mon avis vous aura été utile.

I love this show and was excited to get all seasons. In Season 4, disc 2 I have only able to watch the one of the episodes and the rest either froze or just skipped ahead. I then looked at the disc and you can see an area shaped like a V and a small scratch close to the center. I would love to have a new season 4 sent and I would return the damaged one. I am now on season 5 and hope the rest of the series doesn't have issues either.
