QMNNMA 2 mm Crochet Hook, Ergonomic Crochet Hooks for Arthritic Hands

I’ll be honest, I was looking for a cheap hook while on a trip when I unexpected lost one mid project. What I never could’ve expected was this becoming my favourite hook. It’s so comfortable, has great glide, and it’s light weight. Its only flaw, if it had one, is that the cover can slide back on the hook. Now, keep in mind this CAN be very handy, but not for my purposes. Having said that, it’s still my favourite and I use it constantly.

The crochet hook arrived exactly as described and was packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve, so it was clean and well protected. It was exactly what I needed and met my expectations. The quality is good, and it works as intended. I'm happy with this purchase.

Loving this 2.75 mm hook. It is perfect for making amigurumi with sport weight yarn. The one I used previously was causing problems with my hand and thumb. This one has a soft pad for my thumb (I hold my hook overhand). It is shorter than my other hooks but will be my favorite for the tight, yarn under stitches used by amigurumi makers.

The crochet hook is working well. I’m making some small medallions for a baby blanket and the pattern called for a 3mm hook and it’s not a normal U.S. size so I found this one on Amazon. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s not as quality as a Clover brand one that I bought at a local shop. There’s a small silicone nub on the end which depending on how you hold the hook could irritate your hand. Other than the nub, the silicone handle with grip indentations is comfortable. The price is reasonable and the size “3” is on the handle.

There are quite a few things I don't like. I do not like that there's not enough room to crochet because the working space of the metal Hook is too short. You can only do simple stitches. More advanced stitches need the room to have loops on your hook. This does not provide enough space. It is okay for simple stitches. You can see a big difference in the photo between my crochet hook and this crochet hook. The working space is much shorter. Also the metal hook can easily slide out of the rubber handle, but I'm not sure if they made it this way on purpose. I do love that the metal goes through the entire handle which makes it very strong. Am I going to return it? No. It's a good strong crochet hook. I just wish that the working space was a bit longer. It does make certain stitches more difficult especially when working with bulkier yarn.
