Great sound on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
This Movo DoubleMic-UC Dual Capsule microphone works great on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone when shooting video. The built in mic was picking up too much background noise whereas this external mic reduces background noise considerably. The fact it has a USB-C connector means no cables, just plug it in, set the levels for the front and/or rear mic (can turn the rear mic off) and record. The eyes can be easily fooled with regard to image quality but audio is different and bad audio can ruin a great video..Be sure to unplug the mic when reviewing video as when it is plugged in the speakers are disabled.

Stupid design, impossible to use
The microphone is positioned perpendicular to the phone. It does not swivel or adjust in any way. You literally have to hold the phone in your hand 100% of the time when you use this. One microphone will be placed towards you and one away from you. Impossible to use hands free.

Do not use it outside
Any wind or breeze hitting this will cause complete loss of audio quality. Don't even have a fan blowing in it general direction while inside. Other wise, not bad. Very limited use due to this issue. Even with the wind covers that come with it.

The USB-C connection is not very tight
I bought it to be paired with my OSMO Action 4. I noticed some static noise in the footage. I belive it's due to the USB -C is not tight enought, so any bump of the camera would impact the connection and thus the quality of the sound.

Way too hot mic
This mic is way too hot. If you want it for events, band practice etc, there is no way. It gets saturated even with speakers. This is more for a blogging setup for talking videos only. FYI, put the dead cats AND the other covers and it still gets saturated.
