I purchased this as a project bot, not just for its amazing current features, but its potential when combined with a 3D printer!First off, setup with super simple. Just follow the instructions on the app and your little buddy will be ready to go in no time. I set him up to charge while I was downloading the app and it meant he was already in place for the latest firmware update (needs to be on the charge station).Out of the gates he has no problem navigating on carpet & tiles, he was quicker than expected and has reliable controls. You can send him into a different room and due to there being little to no lag on the video feed, he can be controlled remotely without any issues at all (Tested on Wi-Fi and 4G).As mentioned above, I really look forward to having a go at 3D printing some additional elements for him. I really love the idea of using him to play and monitor my cats and that will probably be his main use going forward. Having a little movable robot that can keep an eye on things while I’m not home is ideal.Overall, I would highly recommend this little robot!

Since now I’m going to office more and my cat is very clingy and kinky at home. So I bought this robot car to “ monitor “ and play with my catIt’s easy set up just App download connect to WiFi. Then it’s remote control. 360 degree removeable from remote control. Can video, picture and even talk to my cat! So when I’m free able to interact with him and see if he’s happy at home hahah.But if you have a dog, baby? Or want safely control over your home, I’ll say it’s good to get one. Cuz it’s removable!Recommend! Xx

it has brushed motors is slow and sounds like a helicopter taking off in your house hits into everything it can camera quality is not good at all battery is bad 2 way audio is bad and lags get a ebo air if you want a useful bot that doesn't hit into everything and won't shake everything in your house as its so loud

Does not find return point all the time even in same room. So if roaming. As a security robot it gets lost and gives up. Camera to low for. Face recognition. Bumps into a lot of. Obstacles. Not as good as thy blurb would have you believe. It has a lot of tech but only good as a toy

Amazing piece of technology. Good for keeping an eye on the house. However I would not trust it to remember its route on long journeys as errors add up over time due to bumps in the carpet. Also suffers from occasional wi-fi blackout spots - so do not do too many risky journeys and avoid low wi-fi data rate areas, especially far away from router. You will know there could be problems if the data rate starts to get low or fluctuate wildly. If you do think you are about to get a wifi blackout I would suggest hitting the "return to the charging point" button, cause at least it will keepthe rover moving and hopefully restablish contact. The other option, if you lose contact, is to try again later e.g. in 10, 30, 60, 90 min time in case the wi-fi connection to the rover comes back on line again.The docking tith the checker-board power supply can be a bit nail-biting - usually it manges it, but sometimes it needs a bit of help with alignment. It has infrared lights so it can see at night. You can speak through it, but audo quality coming back is not too great.

This robot is awesome, I love to use the scratch function and learn some coding with it. This is also great for having some fun with your dog, my dog loves to play around and chase it. The camera is also a good quality and works as described

Bought for 9yr old son whom has an interest in scratch programming.Product box was not sealed on arrival and looks as though it was a returned item.Took a bit of setting up , emailed customer services and they replied straight away so can’t fault that.Loaded the firmware update then my son played with it in manual mode to get used to it. Camera picture is not bad, controls ok to use. Managed to manoeuvre it around without an issue.My son set up a patrol route around our house , wooded floors hardly much clutter. We then set the scout off to patrol and of the 5 times we tried it kept bumping into things going round in circles then stopping altogether, didn’t complete one circuit!!The idea was for him to scratch program but after seeing how abysmal it performed on the basic patrol we decided it was not worth the effort him sitting making a program for it to bump into the first wall it came to. This would put him off programming altogether.The product does not live up to what it says it does which is a real shame as it if it was workable it would have been good for my son.Upshot is we will return this as it’s expensive for all that it does.

I think this is quite interesting and fun. It helps me to pass my voice in a movable way, since it's equipped with a microphone and a speaker. And it can move forwards, backwards, sideways and spin, so it can take pictures and videos in all angles. Haha, I'm still exploring its functions.
