This looks a disaster once you get it and it seems impossible to put it together. People freak out from having to put it together by themselves, OMG you got to use your brain and time!!! LOL But its a very good project to work with kids or even for adults, and once it starts coming together - its a very satisfying feeling. When I turned it on and my entire room turned into a galaxy - I laughed like a child, it was amazing. The lamp itself might be a cheap quality but the result it amazing and I absolutely love it!!! Cool for kids, romantic for adults!

The quality is very poor. This thing just fell apart after couple of days of using. The clue doesn't hold the parts together at all. I had to use special clue later, to fix the whole thing. The quality of the projector, the image of stars also isn't that was expected.

Impossible to assemble without destroying in the process. Buyers regret.

I actually used this as part of an art project, so my usage was a little unorthodox. I'll say this much: it's a much better nightlight than it is a full-fledged planetarium projector. that said, as a nightlight it's cool as hell. You do have to assemble it yourself, but it's really not all that difficult to do. Just be patient and careful with the double-sided tape. When it's finished it has a really nice distinctive silhouette and the projections it makes are (while somewhat dim) really cool-looking.One pleasant little surprise is that almost all parts save for the base came with two of each! There were two of each color of LED light, two of the star map part, two power cables and two of each of the stickers that indicate the rotation and degree of the projection. Very nice to have an extra just in case you misplace something.Docked a star only because the part that was supposed to secure onto the bottom of the base was warped, so I had to finagle with things a bit to make sure the batteries didn't fall out. They actually haven't so far despite the projector not having a bottom, so it's not really that big of an issue in the end for me :PAlso, just as a heads up, the LED bulb colors I got were bright white x2, dim/yellowish white x2, bright blue x2, bright green x2 and bright fuchsia x2. The green was the only type which had an outward indicator of its color--I had to screw the others in and turn the light on one by one to figure out which was otherwise which. Also, the product description page makes it look like there's a yellow color, but in reality the LED is more of a slightly yellow-tinged white.

this constellation lamp is really amazing it shows certain costellationonly can be seen at night when the stars are showing I don't know any of the constellation so this is all I can say

WTH did I just spend $40 on? These instructions are worthless and don't even address all of the parts it comes with. $10 might be a better price point. This is ridiculous.
