G.H. Bass & Co. Men’s Stretch Twill Canvas Shirt

This is a good heavy weight canvas work shirt. I would give it five stars and call it a great shirt except for one lacking feature. It doesn't have pocket flaps. This is important to me because cut a lot of wood, which is what I bought this shirt for, and without flaps covering the pockets, the pockets fill with wood chips. That's really annoying. That said, it is a good heavy weight work shirt with a tight weave that should hold up well to wood cutting abuse. Please add pocket flaps!! I'll gladly pay a little more for those.

These shirts are great. I found one at a ROSS probably 5yrs ago. It’s still in great shape. I was ready to get a couple more and found them on Amazon. They were on sale and so it was really worth it but even at regular price they are a good buy. They stretch just enough and are very HD and durable. I don’t have the longest arms and I still don’t look like I’m wearing an accordion on each arm. Its probably due to how thick the material is. It’s suitable as a “shirt-jacket”, to just layer or by itself. I haven’t found any other shirt like this that feels/is as durable or fits as well for me. FYI I’m 5’8”, 165lbs, 38 chest and my arms are 30”/31” L.

I have three of these. One is three years old, but shows virtually no wear. They fit my medium frame well. The only drawback is ALL their collars curl inward on my left and outward on my right! Ironing does not overcome this problem.

Haven't had shirts this rugged,well made since my Uncle Sam was buying my cloths for me 50 years ago.Really like the stretch.

I love the shirt, only wish that it had pocket flaps. Purchase as a replacement for a worn out 15 year old Cabela's version of this shirt.

This seems like a great work shirt. Rugged looking. Tight-knit canvas should hold up well to nasty work like ripping out blackberries and holly. Fit seems quite true to size. Price was a bargain.

Fits great, stretches and warm on cold summer evenings

Fit perfect and I like the stretch in a heavyweight shirt. Everything seems to out of stock in medium. I hope they restock!
