My son is 8. He’s 52” in height and very slender. I bought him a size 6-8 charmander and this fits perfectly. The material is very soft and overall, I found the costume to be well made and nice quality. He can wear the costume over his regular clothes or wear it with only his boxers. It also has a zipper across the rear and I’m guessing that’s trips to the toilet? Hope this helps you!

My 7yo daughter is in love with Pokemon. We got this as one of her birthday gifts and she put it on before even opening her other gifts. We have had it for a month now and it has held up to the daily wear and tear of a 7yo imagination!

Texture is fuzzy like a costume not soft like a pajama. Fun to play it but not to sleep in.

I love the way this fits .. you can wear clothes underneath and it still has room to be comfortable

It’s very soft. Runs a little big... the material is not the best. My son wore it once and it has 5 holes in it already. I’ll sew it back... I still like it because it makes him happy but it’s not the best quality. I would be ok paying more for a better/stronger material.
