quick easy read
2.75 ⭐️This book was a quick and easy read. First for me by this author, I would be happy to read others I’m not running to Amazon or anything but I’d definitely like to check out others.- Dual POV- Grumpy/sunshine in reverse- Small town romance- ‘She’s the one’Our two leads are Luke and Cassie, she is a bad@SS lady boss and he is a dirty talking machine.Cassie dates for a living, she started her own business from her dorm room and now she is a successful businesswoman who helps others find love. Ween out the creeps and the weirdos for those looking for a serious relationship. Though for a woman who can easily believe that love is out there for everyone, she doesn’t believe it for herself. She has a troubled past with her family and it’s made her jaded. Doesn’t help that due to her family she has many insecurities that she can’t get over.So when she goes on a date and Luke decides he’s playing for keeps, he wants her not a set up with someone else. How will she react? Will she let her walls down or will she build them so high even his dirty talking can’t break them.Luke comes from a beautiful family, they come from money but more than that, they have been the picture perfect HEA. When he sees this sassy, quick mouthed woman on the side of the road he knows he wants more of her, no way to find her and then BAM the dating company his sister made him use throws her right in front of him again. He isn’t going to waste this chance, two dates will never be enough. Is he determined enough to smash down her walls or will he mess it up before it even gets started? Can he make her see how beautiful she really is?One thing I was really made at the book for is the two weeks we missed, we missed them dating more than the ‘3 dates’ we missed them typically falling in love and it’s such a shame cause I think that would have been great to see. It definitely effected my rating here. All in all it was a cute, slightly hot, quick read.

Loved it.
I loved this book. It was sweet and funny. The characters were great especially Lucas. Absolute dreamed. I liked the link back to the authors other series with the brief glimpse of Tanner and Jordan. If you liked the Springbrook Hills books you'll like this one.

Even better than her previous releases!
Morgan Elizabeth’s newest release is the first in her new Ocean View series. If you’ve read the Springbrook Hills series you’ll know exactly what to expect when opening this book and yet, it rises above all expectations. Devoutly protective men, genuine feelings, and of course, some spiciness!🔥When Cassie is stuck on the side of a quiet road with no phone signal, Luke arrives in his tow truck to save her. With mascara streaking down her face, she’s abrupt with her knight in shining armour, thinking he is the mechanic she rang for two hours previously. Instead of correcting her (although to be fair, she hardly lets him get a word in) he simply fixes her tyre and sends her on her way. He’s smitten with her almost at first sight and even asks her on a date. Of course, this perfectly put together businesswoman-on-a-mission turns down the grubby mechanic. When Luke agrees to go on a date with a matchmaker that his sisters set him up with, it's Cassie who meets him. The sparks fly and when Luke hears that she needs a date to her father’s wedding, he gladly volunteers. Cassie, knowing there’s something there, breaks all of her rules and agrees.Luke Dawson is a man written by a woman for the sole purpose of enjoyment. He’s the only boy with two older sisters who make sure he treats women right. He has a filthy mouth and acts with genuine kindness and patience. He’s smitten with Cassie and is willing to do whatever it takes to prove that he’s not just another client for her. (It’s genuinely swoonworthy.)Cassie is a woman whose heart is locked down tighter than a bank safe. Her father left as soon as she went to college and her mother has been wallowing in self-pity ever since. In her quest to never end up like her mother, Cassie has made a career out of vetting men for potential red flags. Her matchmaking business takes the guesswork out of dating for her clients. She's so good at what she does, however, that she's ruined other people for herself. She has a strict set of rules that her life must follow and her love life is nonexistent as a result. When true love comes knocking she doesn’t know how to react. With the tension palpable even through the page, she has no option but to give in to her innermost desires. The only thing she has to do is let her guard down enough to let Luke in.(Full disclosure I did get to read the ARC copy but this is a 100% truthful review!)
