Good little mower but the batteries could be better.
If you have a small lawn that you can cut in 20 minutes, this mower is probably ideal but anything more then you will either need to buy bigger batteries which are very expensive if you add the cost into the mower, I use the mower we have just to cut the fairly large grass verge outside our home because the council doesn't come often enoughand leave a terrible mess , it's perfect, I cut the grass every 10-14 days depending on the weather with no cable, no noisy engine and done in 10 minutes. The two batteries just pop in/out easily, that take a while to recharge in the two separate chargers after use and then they are ready to go again. I leave the charges on a timer that comes on once a week for an hour just to keep them fully charged. Overall the mower is very small, folds up easily and stands on its end for storage so it takes up very little space.

What a very good product! Great battery sharing too
The media could not be loaded. SummaryA very good electric (rechargeable batteries) lawn mower.AssemblyVery easy, just follow the simple instructions to connect the two sections of the handle.BatteriesThere are two batteries provided with a charger. I already had another charger (from a vacuum cleaner) that takes the same batteries, so this is very convenient and well thought out. There is an 'alliance' of some manufacturers that are using the "Power 4 all" batteries, which are interchangeable between products - brilliant!ControllingThe mower will not work without one of the two keys inserted into the power 'lock'. This prevents accidents if the batteries are already connected. The mower is then switched on by pressing either side of the top of the handle where there is a safety button to start the motor - pull the lever at the same time as pressing the button.NoiseWe found the mower really quiet - particularly as we are used to a petrol mower. It is also a very clean way to power your mower - no fuel to pour into a tank!Power CableThere isn't one as it is battery powered - this is a big step forward as I always hated getting out a power extension reel and looping it over bushes, etc.Cutting performanceWe have had very little rain this summer. However, it has kept the grass short and also picked up the leaves (on a higher cutting height) as it has a vacuum that collects the cuttings and leaves and forces them into the collection box - they are compacted to save emptying too often.WeightI found it quite light in weight, although I am used to a petrol mower. It is easy to lift into my shed which is a bonus.Value for moneyIt is generally more expensive for rechargeable electrical devices and this product is consistent with that. I am impressed with the convenience and cleanliness of the technology and I expect this is the future of garden devices, given the reduction in petrol vehicles being sold.

I HATE MOWING LAWNS
When it's well maintained, grass looks great and even better, its inexpensive upfront. Either it's already there or just the cost of a bag of seeds. Compared to paving or decking it's definitely cheaper to maintain - just cut it every now and then right? Buy as cheap a mower as possible, lump it in the back of the shed and drag it out when necessary. Except I cannot be dum diddly bothered its a hassle! It's loud and awkward and a backache. It's would destroying the bl**dy grass mocks me with it's growing back every 5 minutes. I have a job, 2 young kids and a partner who is more hard work than even the grass (don't worry she doesn't read this).Long story short, I agree with most of the other reviewers - it's expensive. But so are decking cleaners, stains, varnishes, 'treatments', seals and brushes and on and on. Paving needs to be repointed and cleaned. Well kept grass looks better and is more desirable (imo anyway), so I've made my piece with the idea that - if maintaining it is made as simple and pain free as possible, does the value stack up against the alternatives? Well that's up to you but for me?It's light, it's quiet, easy to move and no need for a circus wire act everytime - no chance of moving through cables. It's worth it for me. Kids are happy running around the grass, partner is happy that the neighbors don't think we are peasants with a jungle out front. Happy wife, happy...If the price is right, go for it. AND, much like DIY tool brands, once you have 'invested' into the battery system, you can bare other Flymo battery garden stuff as bare units which are much cheaper. So keep in mind the price is higher for that reason. It isn't cheap, so of youre happy dragging around the one you have, it's not for you. No probs
