You need to "Reset" the charger to keep batteries at full charge.
These batteries are decent but one thing you have to note is the charger will not automatically charge a battery that is losing charge while the charger is plugged in. You need to disconnect the power momentarily or remove and replace the batteries to get them back to full charge. The batteries are also a little bigger in diameter than a standard AA battery so they won't fit everything. Overall they are good batteries and a good charger. As far as them holding a charge for an extended period of time, that's a myth. They will run at least 50% down just setting a couple of weeks without use.

The one device once a week 95% battery charging kit. Needs Improvement.
20 batteries but you can only charge 4 at a time which takes about 6 hours each. So hopefully you only have one device you need to use maybe once possibly twice a week to use because you'll be waiting for these to charge like watching paint dry. I have to buy 4 more charges so I can have all the batteries charged at the same time if I want spares. The dumbest thing is they give you the USB charging cable but you don't get power adapter. What the hell kind of nonsense is that? It's like a 95% kit. I use my cell phone adapters ( I have many) in all different power ratings and even my largest "fastest" charger it takes hours to do 4 batteries. Ridiculous. Also note, while batteries are supposed to get hot when charging, these get VERY hot. Not burn your hand hot but close enough to where you're not sure you want this left unattended for very long. I'd love to tell how long they last in a device but they're STILL charging! Funny, nothing in the question/answer portion of this listing to show THAT information.

Good Batteries, Right price.
These work great. I use them for my Xbox one X controller and they last a long time and recharge numerous times. I havenβt worn any out so far.

lasted less then a year!
Bought these last Nov and the batteries do not last very long. I use them for under cabinet lighting and some remotes. These have not held a charge very long even when not in use and sitting in a drawer. Also, many of the batteries no give me an error when I place them in the charger and they will not charge anymore. I would not recommend. I bought these because of the reviews and the 2800mAh but these were a complete waste of money. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the charger indicates the life in the battery.

horrible
this has got to be the cheapest quality charger i have ever bought, let alone seen! slots are too small for the AA batteries to be put in and taking out easily, you can put batts into slot with a little strength but, literally can't get them the heck back out afterwards without brute force which ends up messing up bottom of battery and breaking one of the slot connectors too. Also cable does not go all the way into port so charger kept going on and off when i moved it. Needless to say, this 20 pack turned out to not be such a good deal, if this charger is so poorly made, can't help to wonder how good baterries really are so needless to say these are being return for a refund.

Great for gamers
Don't pay top dollar for specialty chargers, buy these and use them in all your controllers, remotes, and mice.

Avoid. Loses charge quickly and error when charging.
I charged these correctly. Each time I place them on the charger it get an "error" on the LCD. I then have to reseat the connector and the batt. Once it gets going it seems as though its charging. The LCD indicates a full charge. I was going to use them for my camera flash. I put them in the flash and after about a minute of use, apx a dozen 75% power flashes, they were dead. Not even full strobe shots and not overworked.Im returning these and will never choose this brand.
