not a good fit for Pixel with case
I got the sync stand without a charger. It runs the external charger's power as advertised and the phone shows "charging rapidly when connected to the correct charger. It doesn't fit well with a Pixel that has a case. It had a problem of flipping between connected and disconnected 20 times nearly instantaneously, according to my device's charging history. If it does that again, I may have to stop using it. The intermittent link is likely because of the case. So though it doesn't work well for me, anyone whose phone doesn't have a case might have a better experience.

Fine dock let down by poor phone connector
Props to this company for making a USB-C dock - those still relatively rare, after all. However, I can't get over the poor connector that you plug the phone into. It kind of clicks with a metallic sound when the phone is plugged in in a disconcerting way, so I will be returning. A dock needs to look after my investment, and I do not have confidence that this will not damage the USB-C port on the phone.

Well worth it
This is getting more use than I expected. I'm really liking it.The front to back movement on the dock is helpful when placing it in, and the position of speaker helps to listen to music or any other audio while it's charging. This is great for podcasts or conference calls while working, and helps to make sure I don't miss notifications as they come in. I'll be picking up another one of these for home.

Looks and feels nice, but doesn't work.
I wanted to like this, but unfortunately it doesn't work. It plugs into the phone nicely with the spring loaded plug, and my phone(pixel 2 xl) says that it is charging, but overnight the battery percentage doesn't go up. If I unplug the stand and plug directly into the phone, it charges correctly, so it is definitely the stand. Unfortunately I kept forgetting to return it, so no my return window is past.

Wow! The jokes on me!
Accidentally purchased this mistaking it for a similar item with almost 5 stars for the same price. I read all the terrible reviews on this mistake while waiting for it and thought I would just give it a shot. It arrived and wouldn't charge my phone but would light the charge indicator up. Stay far away from this, it could damage your OEM charger or your phone. DON'T BUY.

Garbage.
Save your money & time.I thought I might damage my phone trying to plug it into the dock, the USB-C connector is cheaply made and seems a hair too large.Once I did plug it in, it actually broke the "adjustable mount".Seriously, do. The waste your money.

Constantly feels like it's going to break
Functional, and not awful when the phone is actually on the dock, but I constantly feel like it's going to break when I plug my phone in or take it out. Maybe I've been spoiled by wireless charging on other phones, but I do not like this at all.Still, I've continued to use it daily for about a month and it hasn't broken yet. So I guess that's worth something. And I do still consider it better than not having a dock, since I can see the phone screen from easier angles.

Works as expected
The product works as suggested. It has a really long usb connector and the base plate where the phone plugs in, toggles front to back. Makes it a little hard to quickly plug-in for charging. Would have preferred the base to not move.
