Review: Easton Crowne - This is great, Easton is a delight and even better than his dad which was tough shoes to fill. I hope there's more added to the series ❤ Review: Loved this book - Loved the first book Drive and you need to read that first to understand Reverse properly. Reverse is the story of Drive's characters offspring and Stella, Reid and co. play a part in this story too. I don't want to say much about the plot because I don't want to spoil anyone's enjoyment. What I will say is that Ms Stewart managed to weave her story and characters with such heartfelt depth, that the nearer I got to the end, the slower I read because I didn't want it to finish. Usually, when I finish a book I am eager to start a new story with new adventures to lose myself in, but this time I just wanted to take my time thinking about this book. Really resonated with me and I highly recommend. Congratulations Ms Stewart, good work. P.S. Very much enjoyed the music too.

♾️♾️♾️♾️ This was one of my favourite books before, but the audio was soooo much better it made me love it so much more. Every song that was the song for the chapter was perfect and made me feel all the emotions. I have a new love and appreciation for music. I love Natalie and Easton so much, and I loved that we got to see Stella, Reid, and Nate as parents. Joe and Maxine slayed the audio!! Every time maxine cries, so do i they made me feel every emotion I have and made me cry more than when I read it and at different parts. Honestly, I was just so good. BET

Star crossed lovers, angst, emotion and a glimpse into the past
First off, I read Drive, the predecessor of Reverse, (which really needs to be read first so you get the full impact of what happened in the past) several years ago and it remains one of my all time favourite books and Reid Crowne one of my very favourite bbfs. I was so excited Reverse was happening, I couldnt wait to get started the day it was released. Tbh I wasn't sure how to review or rate this. Disappointingly, I really struggled with the first half, it took so long to get anywhere and I wasn't overly enamoured with Natalie and the choices she made. I didnt really understand her obsession with the past completely, especially as her mum and dad seemed very happy together. I loved Easton and his total commitment to their relationship even when she pushed him away so much. It took me 11 days to read 50% which is unheard of, (even though this is a huge book) and I know I'm in the minority. The second half however was a totally different ball game, it kept me gripped andglued to the pages and I finished very quickly. It was 5 star and exactly what I'd hoped it would be. However, at times the angst, pain, heartache, anger and loss felt almost too much. So many times fate brought them together only to make them suffer more and remain apart, but then that is star crossed lovers to a tee. If it had been almost any other author, I'd have dnf after about 20% as I wasn't feeling it, but I owed it to the genius of Kate Stewart and her blood, sweat, tears and sheer talent she has, to get the whole story, because she is fabulous and I'm gutted this was so difficult to start with. I'm just so happy I did continue, the second half was worth everything and I got all the feels I wish I'd had in the first half that I got in the second. Both Easton and Natalie grew as people even as we saw the best and worst of them. I loved seeing more into the lives of Reid, Stella, Nate and Addie, Lexi and Ben. Addie was lovely and I was so happy for Nate, even when my heart cracked a little for him at the Superbowl and my anger simmered over his reactions, despite being so blindsided by his daughter. The epilogue was just what I needed for Nate and Stella, even if we didn't really get much of Easton and Natalie finally with their HEA, which was a shame. They were sizzling together! Star crossed lovers, that made loving each other so hard, fated to be, but even fate needs a helping hand sometimes. Hats off to you Reid and Nate! “He’s my supernova, the only star in my sky, and oh…how he shines. Every time I look at him, my insides light fire, and I am every bit a moth to his flame. But I don’t care if I burn because…because I would rather burn with him in any capacity, than exist safely anywhere else without him.” I really hope for more from this world. I'm sure Bengji needs an hea, and Joel too, I loved him, he was wonderful. So although overall Reverse wasn't my personal favourite book from one of my favourite authors, I still recommend this, especially if Drive grabbed your heart and soul as much as it did mine. First half - 2.25 stars Second half - 5+ stars

Obsessed with this book! I love Kate Stewart and her writing style, it’s always deep and beautiful and after drive I felt confused, was the decision right but when I read Reverse everything just made sense. I can’t wait to read this book again that’s how much I love it!
