Eye Candy Galore
Ok, I will have to admit that this movie is not only cheesy, but it is all the way, categorically, genuine industrial strength cheese. But...that's what makes it fun. It is one of those movies where you purposefully have to suspend reality, and your experiences with Hollywood caliber productions, and just enjoy the fun. It is one of those Bollywood classics that is full of great music, dancing and some pretty serious eye candy. Hrithik Roshan has to be one of the most gorgeous males on this planet. I could write pages about his delicious green eyes. This is not a movie you watch if you want serious CGI and believable scripts. That's not what Bollywood is about. They are all about deliberately giving you a very energetic trip in the opposite direction of reality. If you can't just sit back with some popcorn and a good drink and enjoy the rather goofy ride, you probably wouldn't enjoy it much.

Great action film with an actual plot, no bloodshed, but plenty of thrill.
Loved it. The acting by everyone, especially Aamir Khan, was wonderful. Staging and dancing were superb. Motorcycle stunts were one of a kind. Really fun and entertaining, and the movie had heart too, and a moral. Really outstanding overall, especially for this genre.

Average Action/Adventure Flick
After a series of clever, successful robberies by a motorcycle gang, Assistant Commissioner of Police Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) takes the case personal, and with the help of a minor crook Ali (Uday Chopra) attempts to catch them in the act. John Abraham plays Kabir, the mastermind behind the thefts, with Esha Deol as Sheena, Ali's love interest, and Rimi Sen portraying Sweety, Jai's wife. This action/adventure film is not an outstanding one. There is no surprise to the plot, it drags in spots (the last ten minutes felt like it lasted three times as long), and is, at times, rather inane. The music and choreography were unremarkable. As there was no depth to the plot, the actors only presented average performances. Despite all that, this popular film was rather fun, and I would consider watching the other two in the series.

Suspend your reality of movies and enjoy!
I read the reviews after wanting to watch this because it was between Ashwaryia and Hritik. The problem with this movie is not that some of the action was unbelievable but that it was poorly executed by the director. Tom Cruise does the same unbelievable stunts but somehow it is orchestrated so that there is some possibility of belief. Aside from all this, there is no real story other than like Mission Impossible genre but in this case, there is so much beauty that fills the screen that you mouth just drops. I have never seen Rai look so sexy before, there is a certain appeal that she brings out with Hritik that I have never seen before. On the other hand, Abhishek embodies the privilege of the journey of the privileged. He does not deserve to be starring in Dhoom. His posture, his acting and oh no his dancing, is comedic. Forgive me, he might be a lovely person but some people should not be in certain fields.I enjoyed the frames with Rai And Roshan, they carried me to the finish line with their talent that clearly puts them above their costars in this movie. Dhoom 2 is not a great movie it is for fans of Hritik. Rai has never looked this sexy ever. Suspend your judgement and enjoy the acting talent and beauty of these two.

Tf did I just watch
please eliminate the singing and dancing- it's not relevant to the story line. It also makes the movie unbearably long.change the actors- replace with people who can maybe act.why are all the women portrayed as dumb bimbos?
